Kyosho Scorpion/Beetle rere wheel & tire options
I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on the Scorpion. I'm curious what the tire options are that are available, and who has them. Are they a 1.55"? I'm looking to throw some paddles on the rears, hopefully the Sand Scorcher paddles. Thoughts?

Do you need the entire assy or just the pads?

Re: New guy here...
I picked up a motor lathe and went nuts building motors. I have (2) 14x2, a 11x2, a 11x3 and a 13x3, all fresh cut with new brushes and ready to roll. Bulding motors is kinda fun when you have all of the parts you need in stock and ready to go. The right tools make the job almost pleasurable...........

Re: Brushed Mod Motor lathe...
Well, I got it figured out all on my own. I reversed the direction of the motor. This makes sense since the cutting edge is on the bottom of the bit, not the top like I'm used to. Works like a champ. Now I just need a reastat (sp?) andhook it to my power supply. This way I can control the mtor speed...

Brushed Mod Motor lathe...
I picked up an Integy Mod-Fashion Lathe last week, bought it new. I consider my self pretty mechanically inclined and able to figure out a lot of things....but I'm not understanding how the bit is supposed to sit in the holder. The ip os brazed to the bit, so it's only going to sit and cut properly ...

Re: Old school Yokomo and the newer kits....
IMO, the Yokes (YZ-10 and newer) were designed to be raced. These arent' just bashers for the yard, I've never run my Yokes like that. I had other RC's for that. My Yokes have always been my racers. They're are born champions and I believe even a YZ can still be as competitive on an indoor track in ...

Re: Scorpion vs. Scorpoion Turbo - What's the difference !?!
If I remember right, the Turbo had a true differential, where the Scorpion had a spool (locked up solid, no diff).
