werent the x01 rated for like 142 mph. either way should hold up. you can also do the gorilla tape on the inside of the tires too but make sure to balance them. im liking foam myself b/c you dont stress the transmission as much but take off is a little harder.

just a side note, one of my coworkers says that if you empty your cart for a few days then add stuff you want and let it sit there, they will eventually send you a 10% off coupon.

Re: RC10GT2 + MAMBA MONSTER X + 2650Kv Castle 1512
I got similar numbers on one of my builds, but finding a place to properly test that is the issue
with a 48p you can barely fit a 47/69 gearing. I chose to do a 3800kv motor on 3S. Its just a constant state of peeling out when I had it on foam tires.

Re: Servos, Hitec vs. Savox.
I bought 2 of those blue cased savox servos a while back to replace two others that were giving me issues and I couldnt be more happy. Its not the more high end ones that most of you guys get but ive had no issue. I dont mind turning a few milliseconds slower than you guys

Re: Budget ESC
I have that toro leopard system in a different KV. outside of the motor being a 380 size instead of 540, its been pretty good. The heatsink is huge so it looks like a 540 in size b/c of it. easily enough power though.

ive been curious what you've been working with too
hope you give that transmission a test run, hoping to hear the gears fit in it right before I incorporate the model with something else.

Re: Plethora of 4wd replicas?
most of us are just playing the waiting game for parts now. wanted to do a 4wd kit fairly bad and this came out right in time.
just gotta decide how you want to make it happen.
