Re: *Parts needed to run modern 2.2 rims/tires on your rc10*
maybe ill figure it out, i was running 1/16 e revo wheels for a short while. The biggest issue was the rims. I was trying to offset them as much as possible in the rear which ended with the nut barely fitting inside the rim and tightening would scrap against the rims. also, with the fronts, it seems...

Re: Bent RC10GT CHASSIS
while I havent tried it yet on an rc car. Ive always been a fan of a rubber hammer and a piece of wood. like get a piece with a good flat end and use it and another flat surface to flatten the car back out while banging with the hammer on the opposite side of the wood. I've only done this on real ca...

Re: Will the RC10GT diff rebuild kit work on RC10?
just bought the tc3 kit. i'll confirm in a few days when it arrives. on a side note, towerhobbies is out of stock on the tc3 kit. Amainhobbies has it at almost half the price of towerhobbies. im also trying the b4 topshaft with vts slipper conversion. want to try the avid rc triad conversion too. ne...

Re: dogbone vs Univ joint vs CVD
I guess for the moment, it sounds like its just worth running my univ joints until they go out.
were the plastic telescoping ones even made for an rc10 or was that modded?

Re: RC10B4/4.2 slipper conversion for the Stealth 2.25 - parts list
sorry for the double post but has anybody tried the AvidRC triad slipper kit. would be nice to see an all in one solution for a topgear solution to the stealth tranny. I guess a question about weather the b4.1 topshaft can work in a stealth tranny. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/...

Re: new guy here
im not short on parts, just more looking for certain ones. I'm probably gonna try some cvd's and see how those run. did you use a 3/16 kit or stuck with the 1/4" axles for yours? Im getting sick of the 3/16 extended axles. the part that dogbone goes into it sticks out too far and clashes with t...

Re: removing paint & chrome paint.
that chroming looks pretty decent.
Im trying to do an all aluminum build and if the chrome does more of an aluminum effect, that would end up looking nice. gold pan with all aluminum, hopefully i can get the actual aluminum to match the paint with enough polishing on it.

Re: binding in transmission (6 gear)
well this has now turned into trying to make the tranny have a little friction as possible. i've removed the bearings, cleaned out the gears of which i found some slivers of gears caught in the outdrive teeth so the issue with the outdrives and idler is gone. i pulled the bearings, one of them had a...

Re: binding in transmission (6 gear)
all bearings were exact replacements. the damage to the gear happened before the bearings were replaced too.

binding in transmission (6 gear)
so this is more of an after the thought question on an issue i had. so after doing some high speed runs with my car. the rear end started to bind up really bad. became hard to turn. since it still turned and i didnt feel any grinding, i thought it was the bearings. well, ive now replaced the bearing...
