When I was reading magazines about this I never knew they made pit stops for batteries and such.

Re: What RC Videos Do You Like On Youtube?
*EDIT* with the right video this time. I'm failing using the youtube bb code, today. I actually installed an extension that makes embedding YouTube videos much easier, but the caveat being it causes all the existing ones to stop working. :? Also it seems that Youtube gives a different link when you...

Re: What RC Videos Do You Like On Youtube?
An off the wall one I'm not going to link because it's got just a little vulgarity, is the video for the Drum and Bass track, "Joyride", by Amaro and Walden, which features animated characters cruising and getting into trouble around London in a Tamiya Wild Willy. Edit to hotlink an image ...

Re: Impulse Buy - Pavidis YZ10
Last night I did my most anxiety inducing task, which was to trim the body. I try and leave extra material the the rough cut because I'm always afraid of trimming too much, but I had done the ends of the bottom tray years ago and must have taken too much because there isn't enough for the rear screw...

Re: What RC Videos Do You Like On Youtube?
Clearly I favor the old racing videos.
My favorite in this is when Junior's car flies off the track and a spectator has to toss it back on.

Found a video purportedly featuring Kevin Orton, in case you've wondered what he looked like.

Re: All the Lazers
So I thought I was done with eBay lazer when, while I had it up off it's wheels on the table, I noticed one front tire was lower than the other. I took the front shocks apart expecting to find a travel limiter in one but all I found was a score on the one shaft just below the lower e-clip, which doe...

Re: All the Lazers
Never content with just finishing a project, I went down the rabbit hole of the small bore velvet shocks and found that Team Brood sells brand new sets. Has anyone bought them? Pricier than I'd want, but I think the 80mm and 90mm match the lengths (if it's eye-to-eye) of the ZX-R shocks, and I would...

Re: Impulse Buy - Pavidis YZ10
This weekend I finally put the threaded associated shocks together. I opted for the setup recommended in the article I linked in my last post, so I made use of the longer front shock bodies and my Rocky can keep it's threaded rears for now. It was also clear that a 1.32in shock shaft in the rear was...

Re: All the Lazers
Nope they did not , There are 2 ways rw and hyperclutch, rw racing has spurs for the lazer so i guess they can have it in smaller sizes with 8mm hole , hyperclutch change the frontplate of the slipper to use normal spurs i think la-118 or some thing There is an light weight version umw-305 i think ...

Re: Anodizing Cost Effectiveness?
They have been for sale, the website is sold out now though. https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/parts/details/6311-ASC6311-rc10cc_chassis_nose_plate_motor_mount_silver/ I searched a few times since they had the clear announced and nothing ever showed up. Did they actually have stock...

Re: Anodizing Cost Effectiveness?
There is a reason why you don't see people flipping old chassis and re-anodizing them for a profit. It's time consuming, requires skill and experience and needs to push a lot of volume to make a good profit. I wouldn't be reselling. A $50 (?) premium for a non-scuffed, non modified, zero hour, all ...
