Re: 870c ReRe?
Hi! I had a look inside the box, and there is no exploded view of the car, but each part has a part number according to the manual instruction (for example YZ-302F for the front bulkhead, YZ-002 for the main chassis plate, ... Do you need to have some references for specific parts? Have a nice day!...

Re: Impulse Buy - Pavidis YZ10
Posting this link to a PDF download of an article on setting up YZ10 shocks for hard surfaces, so I don't lose it. I'm curious about the claimed benefits of shorter shock shafts in longer bodies, and whether that's a good setup for me since i run my RC's on hard surfaces. <Note: Link is directly to ...

Re: All the Lazers
Nope they did not , There are 2 ways rw and hyperclutch, rw racing has spurs for the lazer so i guess they can have it in smaller sizes with 8mm hole , hyperclutch change the frontplate of the slipper to use normal spurs i think la-118 or some thing There is an light weight version umw-305 i think ...

Re: 870c ReRe?
Hello! Happy new year! I received mine this morning; that's a nice kit! Are you able to post an image of the part numbers? Hello, I will try to make a picture this evening (I have to open the box for this). Thanks! I have a feeling that yokomo will follow the trend of other rere's and confine all p...

Re: All the Lazers
Why not use the Kyosho ones, part number SC240 https://rc.kyosho.com/en/sc240.html I might buy those the next time I order hardware, and see if I've been wasting my time. As I mentioned before: I was hoping to accomplish a few things, one being enough thread length to get a nylon locking nut on the...

Re: Impulse Buy - Pavidis YZ10
I went to put together the shocks and realized I screwed up. The shock parts I bought were for the RC10B4, thinking I was smart for looking up part numbers off of manuals. But I had forgotten that Associated had lengthened the fronts and shortened the rears for later RC10's: 0.89/1.12 vs 0.71/1.32. ...

Re: Anodizing Cost Effectiveness?
If these parts ever become available, does anyone know the cost effectiveness of having them anodized to match the classic RC10 gold? https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/parts/details/6311-ASC6311-rc10cc_chassis_nose_plate_motor_mount_silver/ Cost effective compared to what? Re: All the Lazers
I got the eBay lazer put back together with updated Kyosho hardware except for a few pieces. 20240102_205152.jpg I had to spend a little time experimenting with the differential assembly to get rid of the gritty feeling. It seemed too easy to get a rigid assembly. The instructions had the called for...

Re: Impulse Buy - What did I get?
Decided to do a general hardware refresh like I'm doing with my Lazers. 20240102_204931.jpg I was glad to find that the YZ-2/YZ-4 ball studs are the same size as the YZ-10's, so I'm going through those with modern hex head type studs and through-hole rod ends. Also similar dimensions are the shock e...

Any good year end deals?
Anyone know of any good end of year deals?
When I was a kid, this is when I wanted to go toy shopping because some things would be marked down to a couple of bucks.

Managed to find some NOS threaded shock bodies. Just had to wait for transit from Canada for some.

Re: Impulse Buy - What did I get?
Since I got two of my lazers back together (one running, one needs electronics, break-in, and testing), I decided to dust off my YZ10 and get to work with that. One thing I'm doing is replacing some of the hardware with screws that seem to fit better and/or aren't as beat up. Also I sourced new bear...

Re: Rebuilding my JRX Pro-SE
So I have a XXX buggy I overpaid for that I'm in the process of collecting parts and, in research, I saw there were a number of rare aluminum parts made for it. While finding those for a reasonable amount seems futile at this point, I got the idea to see if there were any for the TLR 22. Turns out t...
