I've got these. Unfortunately, my scanner is broke. I'll figure something out, and send you a file. Any particular format (.bmp, .jpg, etc.)?

By the way... Great job on the car!

Re: - '91 Stealth Masami replica -

The hand written numbers are probably just inventory numbers. For big events, Mike would bring boxes of blank motors and pre-wound armatures. Based on whatever worked, he would assemble race motors at the track. It made more sense than bringing hundreds of built motors, and only using a fraction of ...

Re: T2 Rear shock tower mod and RC10T prototype ROAR NATS to

That's an interesting truck, but it's not the prototype we tested. The truck we tested looked closer to a normal RC10T. We were already using the new shock towers and brackets on our RC10Ts, so the shock positions were pretty much the same. We were also already using the short steering bellcranks, f...

I did some searching through my old parts boxes, and found the original servo mounts.

Re: Procat/Bosscat prototype...

Hey Jeff. Based on you username, I didn't realize who you were. I just figured it out. :o The bumper would have looked like the one on Jurgen's Detroit car, from the other thread. I doubt there were any pictures of this car in the magazines. Any Winterchamps pictures would have been of Jurgen's Boss...

Re: Procat/Bosscat prototype...

The car is a mix of prototype Pro-Cat parts and production BossCat parts. Originally, it looked very similar to the prototype car in the other thread (http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=5966). I swapped the chassis, and added the BossCat parts later. The front diff isn't anything speci...

Re: Procat/Bosscat prototype...

I'm fairly certain that was my car. I gave it to a friend many years ago, as a parts car. I know he sold it on eBay, sometime last year. I'm assuming the previous buyer re-sold it. If it indeed was my car, those prototype parts are from the '91 Worlds.

Re: BradR's B1.5 Restoration

Pretty cool stuff right there. Thanks for sharing this, Brad. If it were mine, I'd be tempted to leave it dirty and dusty just like it is. A true garage find. Another fan of "Chasing Classic Cars," I presume. Me too. However, I think the "dust adds value" rule only applie...

Re: BradR's B1.5 Restoration

Very cool Brad! We have always wondered why associated went away from the tub and straight to the B2. I assume this was your cooked up version, not something Associated had you try, correct? Do you recall any buzz about the car that never was? Yeah, this was just one of my personal projects. I don'...

And the body...

I used a Turbo Mirage, and covered the exposed areas of the chassis with painted Lexan pieces. Formula 1 cars had recently started adding aerodynamic pieces behind the front wheels, so that was my inspiration.

BradR's B1.5 Restoration

Since there are some other B1.5 threads here, I figured that I would share mine. I was planning to make this my first build thread, so here are some "before" pics. I'm calling it a restoration, because I built this car shortly after the T2 was released. It's been in my garage for almost 20...

Re: Brad Reelfs RC10 Replica /'93 FL Winterchamps Winner

Hey Brad, if you have some old cars/parts/memorabilia/pictures from back in the day, feel free to start a thread and share (if you want  ). Ruffy and Kent have started some in the past which were both interesting and quite popular. In the Off Topic/ Chit Chat section... http://www.rc10talk.co...

BradR's Garage

It was suggested that I start a thread, to share some of my cars and memorabilia. Unfortunately, none of my old cars are display ready. They range from mostly intact, to some parts bolted on a chassis. I plan to restore them, and I'll share those projects as I go. For now, I'll get started with some...

Re: RC10 Factory Works MIP 93' Worlds Racer Restoration

I replicated the number plates the best I could This is a great build, with a great back story. I am extremely impressed by your attention to detail, and I would like to make a contribution. I still have a few number plates from the 93 Worlds, and number 10 just happens to be one of them. This is a...
