Re: Rc10 short arm/ 6 gear setup and race discussion
My transmission is a re-re one, but it is super smooth. I spent a lot of time working on it. Hi Ca-rj, With your 6 gear are you running the black idlers? I believe the re-release idlers are made from the same material as the black ones. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDSYG&...

Re: Rc10 short arm/ 6 gear setup and race discussion
I got antsy and went ahead and put black springs all the way around and the suspension felt nice and plush. The car handled pretty good too. It still has the push. While running it, I decided that maybe I wanted to try and race it at the track and see if I could get the car working well enough to be...

Re: Rc10 6gear trans with Reedy Radon brushed 81t/17t gets h
I think you need to go down a few pinions. I'd start with a 14. My son's RC10T with monster truck size 2.2's has the same motor and I have it geared 87/18 (FDR is 10.875) and he can run a full 5000 mah 2s lipo without the motor getting too hot. I'd try something in the FDR range of 10-11. 81/14=10.5...

Re: Rc10 short arm/ 6 gear setup and race discussion
So I've got the old 6 gear out again and am going to take a swing at getting it's handling up to par. I've been running it the last couple of weeks with the standard kit tires and a slowish silver can motor. I'm running silver springs all around and 30 wt (I think) all around. I mostly run around in...

Re: Panda Pandamomium
The Panda was my first RC Car. I am not aware of any upgrades for them though. Parts are pretty rare. They do pop up on Ebay from time to time. If you need an inexpensive ESC, Dollar Hobbyz sells the HPI SC-15WP for about $25. You could add a cheap Duratrax Photon 2 20T motor for another $12. What b...

I suppose. I don't really know much about them but am looking at getting one to ride with my kids. I haven't ridden a bike in about 15 years. Looking at getting a Sunday Model C.

Re: AE Warehouse sale
Last year they had some kits and RTR's for sale, but nothing mind blowing. You could have gotten the same deals through Tower Hobbies if you were a Super Saver member. They had a bunch of 18th scale RTR bodies, some electronics that nobody seemed interested in. It was the first time I had been to on...
