Re: NUTPOCALYPSE 2016 CANCELLED

I was going to put in for 15 sets, was just waiting for some nonsense to clear. Dang.

You mean one of these?
XXT Body
XXT Body
Sorry to tease, I am pretty sure I have a few more new ones laying around plus some somewhat decent used ones, I just need to remember where I put them. Things are kind of a mess right now, it's been a long winter.

Re: Losi xx4 rebuild

The original belts would self-destruct in their original packaging, inside of an unopened kit. I built a NIB Rally Weapon a few years back and the belts had decomposed, probably due to the old California air trapped inside. Things can be exposed to California for only so long before they begin to fa...

Re: RC10 6 gear free wheel video

Just catch the end of the retaining ring and rotate it out. Once you do a few it gets way easier.

Re: RC10 6 gear free wheel video

Here's one I found, canned air and a stealth connected to the driveshafts but no wheels.

Re: Tamiya Astute Rebuild

I'm sure TamiyaDan will be along shortly to help you out. The parts are rare, I recall that the front end was a bit complicated, with a mess of bushing and bearings. I don't think the Astute steering can be swapped in from the Super Astute or Madcap without some modifications. There are a few other ...

Re: RC10 6 gear free wheel video

Honestly, I've never believed the 15+ second spin time by hand. I have never seen a 6 Gear in a video or in person that has spun that long. And Jim Halsey says 30 to 45 seconds in "The Winning Edge." I've seen almost 10 seconds but that was by using compressed air to spin the transmission ...

I don't always run a tube with my 2.4 receivers. Or I run a tiny one, it's nice not having to run it out of the body. You can even get receivers with internal antennas.

Re: 4mm Motor Brushes

I can find plenty with side shunts that are close in size, not to hard to get them to the right size. I guess you don't have an old Trinity Brush Factory laying about?

Re: mip diff info/help

I'm trying to find the website I was on recently that had Bellevilles way cheaper than that. Honestly, that's highway robbery. You could probably find a complete rebuild kit with the right size pieces in it for way less. I think I have a bin with a whole mess of them in one of my parts cabinets. If ...

Re: Another XXT Resurrection

Hammad Ghuman made a alloy diff gear for the XXT. They pop up on ebay from time to time. I don't think it is completely needed, the issue was more of setting up the differential and slipper correctly. I learned this the hard way, I converted one of my XXTs to brushless when Novak first released the ...

Re: My RC10 Project

How much does it weigh? :D

It is very purty!

You need to polish up your REC rims.
