Re: The Fox.....low budget runner resto....

That's why I like my Fox's so much, they are unique. Even the aftermarket parts were unique for the most part.

I was happy when they came out with the Re-Re Novafox, since it let me replace many of the parts that were getting harder to find. And they fixed some stuff as well.

Re: XX/XX4 Questions

RPM Rod ends are choice.

OldRC can hook you up with bulkheads and whatnot for anything really.

Like it was said, get some shims, there should be no play.

You've come to the right place for any info you need. Be it Losi, AE or whatever. Ask us anything.

Re: Saying hi with an XX-4 restore!

If you are going to try and run it, find some belts. The rear likes to disintegrate just sitting around. The middle isn't too bad, front is usually ok.

I love my XX4s, Street Weapons and Rally Weapons, all around great cars.

Re: XX question for Losi Guru's

Looks like someone didn't have any more bulkheads and made a custom front end.

Re: Suggestions for cleaning and testing bearings

I actually find bearing cleaning to be something I can do during conference calls that keeps my hands busy.

I soak them a bit, wipe them off, remove the shields and clean them out completely. Metal shields are more tedious but a good xacto blade makes it easier.

Mine should be here today, but it will have to wait until I clear my table of all my JRX2s.

Re: Batteries on the News

I hate that my generation grew up celebrating that Edison jerk. Tesla was so far ahead of his time, and an actual inventor. I think he would be proud to see his name associated with the cars they are producing. Although he would have them running wireless power for free Nothing against Tesla, but w...
