Re: works 93 steering help
I switched to the inside hole on the steering knuckle, and got more outside angle, and about the same inside angle. Bump steer is all but non existant with this carbon rack! Ive got a long ball stud at the knuckle and a short non threaded ball stud on the rack, so the angles match very closely betwe...

works 93 steering help
Hi guys. Im trying to finish a works 93 from scratch. Having trouble with steering. Im using the upgrade carbon fiber steering rack with ball bearing. It adds about 11mm to the length on each side of the steering assembly. So, steering rods are about 11mm shorter using the rack. Problem. Not enough ...

Re: Kyosho SCBE?
Really nice paint work! Good looking project. I like the look of those frame buggies. Is the chassis rigid enough with no top deck?

Re: GoMachv's Nikko Dictator thread
Is it possible to fit ball bearingins in those? I saw quite a few of the rtr toys that looked like good starting points. However, by the time I took em apart the shafts, bushings, and everything else that rubbed or spun was worn out. Some use the plastic case for a bushing surface. Years ago we had ...

Re: LWB MID
I was thinking the same thing. Looks pretty much like gold shocks in purple. Back when I raced an sb pro, it seemed the shocks were fine, but they werent those though. Its weird about the duratrax shocks. Mine didnt leak, but they had almost no damping with 35 wt oil and stock springs. Cant remember...

Re: LWB MID
I looked for some academy shocks,, those purple ones look great! However,, managed to find some good ole golds. In rough cosmetic shape of course. Hopefully the shafts are good. It makes sense that there would be a minimum shop charge. There was an artical in rccaraction back in 90s about home anodi...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Well, for the cost of a lexan body it should fit the way it was meant. Especially the pan. Its tempting to try and pop my own pans.

I was wondering about the shocks too,, AE hardware, but purple. Nice match to the ball cups. Any you guys ever try to dye the white g-10? I wonder if it would take color from rit dye.

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Pretty sure there is polycarb filament for 3d printers,, but it would be hugely expensive,, and probly not crystal clear due to the layering. Im all for the re pops,, but just want them to be right.

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
I just keep reading how the TBG bodies dont fit, especially the belly pans. Make me wonder why they sell so well. I guess hes the only game in town? Whats the benefit of bodies and pans that dont fit?
