Re: Optima Pro - belt drive
That box and documentation are more scarce than the cars. Ive never seen them. That first one at 90 bucks was my last build.

Re: Optima Pro - belt drive
The chassis or at least the shock towers, side plates and motor guard are great vigor beagle. I think the shocks are too, but beagle came with black springs. Its mostly beagle from what I can see. No worries though,,, beagle and optima are pretty much 100% compatible parts wize.

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Looks great! So, a late model,, with mk2 style front end, and 7 cell chassis. I just recently learned of 2 different mk2 style front towers, a and b,, and found within my own parts pile, 2 different rear towers,, similar, but mk1 and mk2 style.
The early mk1 style front tower still eludes me.

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
The first zxr I built, with 7 cell chassis, used the kingping/ camber link on top of the c hub. I know, stirring the pot,, but I really think alot of those updates were thrown into production before the next model came out. Its really opening a can of worms trying to figure out the zxr it seems. The...

Re: Yokomo MR-4 TC manual
Was it a USA manual? Seems like most of the Yokomo manuals on line are JDM, or other than USA.

Re: Anyone else into Quads (aircraft)?
Ive got an alien frame quad, uses off brand 3dr type control, gps,, flies well, but my gps is junk. Havent flown any rc aircraft or quads in months, like possibly 8-9 months... Been difficult to maintain interest in them. I shouldda just bought an rtf fpv quad. These home built units are a real head...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
I think some of the lazer kits had the plastic battery straps on the parts tree, but those kits likely also had the frp battery straps in a bag. Lots of un used parts on the plastic parts trees.

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
The zxr mk1 I built years ago from the box was one of those oddities. I remember distinctly it had the mk2 front tower, but it also had 7 cell chassis, and older style slipper clutch. It did have gold shocks. I thought it also had the round battery posts,, but not sure. it was a long time ago. A guy...

Re: Turnigy 3XS Or Turnigy Radios in general??
I was running a turnigy 3xs, and it was mostly junk. Sometimes when powering on it would get stuck, and not fully initialize, so had to be shut down and try again, that was the tx. As for functional performance, it has a terrible case of channel cross talk. Dont know if its rx related or tx. I can u...

Re: 1995 Mark Pavidis World Champion YZ10 Replica
Im wondering how the rear toe was adjusted. I suppose washers could be used to adjust anti squat, but as far as I know the rear suspension mounts and chassis locations are non adjustable,,,,, oh wait,, possibly rear hubs with offset? It would sure help to have actual instruction manuals for these aw...

Re: lazer zx / zxr differences
Most difficult parts to find I think are the proper square post battery holders, and the mk1 front shock tower. Seems like Nobody has them stashed away anywhere.
I cant remember if zxr mk1 used medium or short front shocks,, but good luck finding mediums at a realistic price.
