GISI Rebuild (WOIC)
So a couple a weeks ago I scored a huge lot of old r/c stuff off craigslist. Mostly mediocre, except this. I didn't even know what it was, but everyone on here helped me identify it. Gisi carbon chassis with full rpm worlds conversion. Pretty freakin' sweet!! Funny thing is I was just getting ready ...

Re: Aftermarket graphite I.d. Help
yeah I could just do it normally. The little bent copper straps that attached the top deck to the bulkhead still look cheap to me for what is otherwise a pretty trick setup.

Re: Aftermarket graphite I.d. Help
Front tower is probably made by Composite Craft so it'd be graphite, not fiberglass. I'm personally a fan of the plain black carbon/graphite parts. ;) ok cool! if I can find a matching rear one that'd be great! what do you think about the flipped tower? I was just goofing around but it looks cool. ...

Re: Aftermarket graphite I.d. Help
B2 and B3 CVDs are the same length as the original RC10's but use 3/16 axles so you'll have to swap bearings and/or rear hub carriers. Then you can use Thunder Tiger Phoenx BX II rear 2.2 wheels which are the same as the old B3 wheels. Can also stick with the stock axles/bones and use an HPI hex ad...

Re: Aftermarket graphite I.d. Help
Let it alone. Build something else. scr8p maybe you can help me out with something. This chassis appears to be narrower in the back than a tub. The arms mount in a lot closer, but the worlds arms are longer than stock. Right now it has the stock dogbones, but i'd like to put cvds on it on it and 2....

Re: Aftermarket graphite I.d. Help
It's not a Composite Craft chassis. Badhoopty has two of those chassis and they were supposedly made by a guy out in Colorado: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=14461&start=1095#p269395 So I guess it's a Gisi chassis. The more I look at it the more I like it! Prob gonna end up ke...

Re: Aftermarket graphite I.d. Help
That would make sense since I am in Colorado! Funny thing about this buggy... I was just getting ready to order a set of kleins to do a WOIN build with and extra 10t I have. This one has a full rpm conversion: worlds arms, mounts, rear hubs, and bb steering. It also has a worlds style shock tower an...
