Re: My First Shuey-Cougar 2?
ID'd the old gal, Cougar 2 sport kit. So the parts list begins... Slipper assembly, bearing steering, battery brace. Been checking out the build on this forum. Definitely leaning towards an updated vintage runner. Any help with parts numbers for the previous would be amazing!

Re: xx4 rebuild racer
Yeah I test fitted one of my stick packs. It fit's snugly one the left side. I also saw a build on a losi forum where the guy mounted the servo, esc on the motor side, and a shorty lipo on the right side. Pretty trick setup actually. Same guy fitted 22 arms on the front. I need to find the link for ...

Re: xx4 rebuild racer
Any raced XX4s will have cut battery slots. What do you want to do? Race, slots are not a,problem. Shelf, whatever you want. Im building one to race. The problem was the ugly modification to the slots on the original chassis. I'm actually gonna go with the first gen, since i'm gonna run lipos. The ...

xx4 rebuild racer
Last week I picked up 2 xx4's off ebay. First one was a basket case. Original release with a graphite chassis. Every screw and nut was rusted, rear belt shredded. Second one was the WE, in much better shape and with a truckload of extra parts. But the LCG chassis was cracked in the front and the bat...

Re: First (Vintage?) Losi in my Collection - Junior2
That particular buggy was in fact owned by yours truly! There's actually a thread called "Lil Ol Jr.2" that I posted. I sold it about a month ago to jaybayrc. He put a new body and gear cover and swapped the springs, but other than that it's exactly the way it was when I had it! My advice ...

Re: At what age?
My munchkin is 3 and she loves daddy's "monster" cars. She's pretty good at holding the wheel all the way left and driving in circles. I'm thinking of getting her something toy grade for Christmas. I myself got a kyosho ultima at the age of 8, and managed to develop enough skill to be raci...

Re: I know... what's old is new is old
Took it out for it's maiden voyage at MHOR Raceway in Aurora, CO. Not a bad day. Didn't have a brushless setup handy, so I threw in a Reedy 14t and an old Novak M1c. Track was full of 22's and sct's that day, but the old rc10 held it's mud. A little work on setup, and a new brushless system and I th...
