Re: Ishipla Monster

This is the kind of cars my local hobby shop in the sticks would always carry, the Monster, the SG coyote, the Aristocraft collection(Kangaroo/Dolphin/Wildebeast) and the Traxxas The Cat. Never a competition buggy no RC 10 no Kyosho or Tamiya products. When the Traxxas Bullet came out it was the onl...

Re: Racing raider

Not to thread jack, but will the diff hold ok with a 27 turn stock motor and if I replace the plastic dogbones with steel ones? Also would the OP know how thick the aluminum plate that is between the motor and the chassis is? Its integral to holding the counter gear shaft in the gearbox and I need t...

Re: Kyosho/Cox Gallop MK I

the tear down and cleaning have commenced. I have a couple of pics that show the wear or the lack there of concerning the rear diff and the rear sprocket. I did not take one of the front diff but its is just a new and has a bit more grease applied from the factory. I would be really scared to run th...

Re: Kyosho/Cox Gallop MK I

Ok, now this car is getting more curious, along with the gold shocks being standard ( I think) it has the same upper front suspension arms as the MK II with the two shock mount holes. now this could have been replaced but there is no visible sign of damage to the entire chassis. Would it be possible...

Re: Kyosho/Cox Gallop MK I

I have a few TX's and this one is a 27MHz which i have a couple but it was the fact that a COX TX was not with it. This particular buggy will sit on the shelf I am afraid the condition is too nice and it is pretty much complete and missing nothing, (I have the roll cage piece that was broken coming ...

Anyone run a Kyosho K Speed Heli Special Mod motor in a buggy?

Anyone run a Kyosho K Speed Heli Special Mod motor in a buggy? I have one and it apparently a 14 turn double wind. Any info would be awesome, I got a great deal on it at a LHS and Kyosho discontinued it. Amazon has someone trying to get 217 euro out of one. But they seem to be pretty scarce and not ...

Re: Kyosho/Cox Gallop MK I

Just received my Gallop from FEDEX. What a great buggy, only broken item on the buggy is the rear roll cage near the wing on both sides. The chassis is very dirty but the gear box, sprockets, and both the front and the rear differentials have almost no wear at all. Anybody know the best way to remov...

Kyosho/Cox Gallop MK I

I have just purchased a decent Cox Gallop MK I and was wondering if the models that had the gold shocks instead of the bare aluminum ones are hiding any other changes from the earlier model. I take it this model was near the end of the production run and the MK II came after so I guess that make the...

Questions about the Kyosho LeMans 480 Gold

I have a 480 Gold and it seems the fiber plate that the brush hoods/brush mounting point are stripped out by the previous owner. Are there replacements for these or a workaround that someone has used to ensure the brushes are grounded properly and not loose?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Mysterious suspension components.

yeah I am busting my head over what they could be considering the shock attached to one of the arms. Was there any mono shock setups for Kyosho buggies other than the 1000 series buggies?

Mysterious suspension components.

I had purchased a lot of kyosho parts and a buggy, I had these items with a kyosho gold shock attached to on of the black arms. Would anyone know what this is for? Could it be parts to a mono shock for a kyosho buggy?
