Re: How rare are yokomo wheels?
I've been having a bit of a clear out and came across a set of nip wheels that came with a battered up works 91 i picked up about 18 months ago for parts. The fronts are ZC-800 narrow fronts, not sure about the rears as they are missing the header card. After reading this thread am i right in thinki...

Re: XX4 racer - few questions
@slapshot1979 - Thx, i'll check out the discussion thread. The belts in the car look pretty good and there's a couple of used green belts and a nip losa3202 green belt with the spares assortment. They should keep me going for now. @rccars4sal - cheers for the tip for the saddle packs. I've got prett...

XX4 racer - few questions
So, i've had this car about 12 months or so now, and to be honest with other projects and stuff going on i'd completely forgotten about it, then during a search for some other bits a week ago i found it tucked away in a corner! I'd like to race it in a few local meets this year, tracks will be grass...

Re: Mardave Meteor Strip & Clean
Nice job, she's cleaned up well. I picked up an almost complete car about 6 months ago, but am struggling to find rear inner and outer hinge pins to complete it. Don't suppose anyone reading this would be able to point me in the direction of any alternatives? Can't really justify buying another car ...

Re: YZ What??
That oneway on the front wheel hub setup with a spool was used on the 834b yokomos as well as the Dominators and other dirt oval cars Thinking they may have possibly come from an 834b or dominator i did a bit of a search on the web. Managed to find a bit of info on the dominator one way hubs, but t...

Re: YZ What??
I was going to say how much i hate the boxy Yokomo body shells, but that Fastrax is a winner TBH Timmy, makes the car, a nice little jewel in this cars crown! lee I'm with you all the way Lee, its like a boxy yokomo shell on steroids, the little kick up on the roof, the way it kicks out at the side...

Re: YZ What??
Thanks for the explanation Terry. Obviously the yokes all have the one way on the centre pully already, so would there then be a need to 'lock' these if using the one way hubs too? Or would it not matter? Also, and forgive me if i'm being simple, if the benefits of the oneway hubs are that great, wh...

Re: YZ10 Pavidis
Thanks Stickboy, the shocks look quite at home on the car. The front shock tower's obviously been replaced at some time due to the different carbon weave, but that can be replaced in time hopefully. I also really like the red anno on the alloy top deck posts, cone washers and wing mounts...funny how...

Re: YZ What??
Thanks for the replies so far guys. I've started stripping the car back to give it a bit of a clean and investigate a bit deeper into its dna! The bulkheads fr and rr are black nylon, the caps look like they've been died though. The front arms and steering knuckles are rpm parts. Which brings me to ...

2nd new edition to the family is this little beauty, very happy to have got hold of it. Due to cash flow constraints theres nothing really planned for her for now. Strip down and clean, source a body set and a set of rear wheels (got a front pair already). Enjoy the pics, and if anyone can help iden...

YZ What??
So, after a couple of months delay due to work issues, i was finally able to take delivery of a few new cars to add to the family! This is the first and the one that's causing the most headaches!! The previous owner thought it was a works '91, i'm not sure what it is. Rear arms possibly CML15 from t...

Re: Help identifying this body?
Here's a photo of a Racecraft Mid shell i picked up a couple of years ago with a Turbo Mid project, air scoop and all. They are certainly a very well made and sturdy bodyshell.

Re: Works Rear Inner Hingepins
Thanks for the replies guys. I do like the idea of the longer OFNA pins with the ball ends and turnbuckles. Thanks for posting the link to JustJoe's build Shaun, it does look good and the parts should be easy to source.
