Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Rear bulkhead lacks the proper worlds holes, and they want the head of the diff bolt on the spur side, that's backwards from the norm What addtional worlds holes are you referring to? There is already an additional hole inside apart from the array of 9. Without a thrust bearing the orientation woul...

Re: 2014 stealth
Correct!
The current stealth transmission kit uses the US made transmission case, diff gear and idler gear AND we have just the US stealth transmission case by itself available.
The new case will come in the kit and in spare parts.

Re: 2014 stealth
Well it looks like the original case. Even down to the top rear most screw hole damage (driver side), most original cases I've handled, have some kind of damage there. Any way to tell the new one's from the old... ie: markings I thought I had mentioned this previously, but I will help clarify. Ther...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
They aren't one piece bushings in the rere kit? I honestly never looked at them..... just assumed. Nevermind  No no nice try at defending and finding good reasons for our fav rc brand to produce a car with flaws (finally) lol Yes, it is a flaw! Now the car is doomed to be 1 sec slower a lap! *...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
yeah, I believe 12mm and 10mm. the difference boils down to giving you a little finer adjustment range for a given spring and damping oil due to higher volume of oil/larger piston and larger diameter spring. To help elaborate: The big bores are 12mm and the V2's are 10mm. Big bores offer a more plu...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Hey Tim, any chance 3 degree inner mounts are going to be available with the worlds car, or will they be released as a option? I second this question! Or should we continue to horde any T2 3 degree mounts we can find? :) Continue the hording! Since they aren't on the world's car, it is likely not t...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
To be clear, your racing against modern buggies Tim? Well, for the time being. Everytime I run, more people are impressed with the WC and when I give them a chance to drive it they are even further impressed (granted it still doesn't jump like a modern car). So far, I think there are about a half d...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
For any of the locals that may be interested, I'll be racing my RC10WC test mule tomorrow at OC_RC. The car has been working very well on the current layout and I think I'll be pretty competitive.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I just noticed in one of the pics on the AE website, that the steering rack has bushings in it. Really??? You're gonna add V2 shocks, B4 slipper but no bearings for the steering? The 1/4" x 3/8" flanged bearing is a fairly expensive bearing, and to add 4 of them ads an unnecessary cost wh...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Yes, the WC will have the 1.02" rear shafts! No 5/8" spacer to worry about! lol In case anyone is interested, I will be racing my RC10WC test car at OC_RC tonight in stock buggy. If any of you would like to try and make it out and try and make a class that would be great, or if you just ha...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Are the front shocks .89 B4 version 2? If so, is this a "new" front shock tower? :!: :!: They're new .71" shock bodies. There are no .71 shock bodies listed, threaded or standard....Tim, can you comment? The non threaded .71" front shocks is 6433, and it appears that t...

Re: 2014 stealth
$96 and no motor plate ($16), gear cover ($??) or felt gasket (unavailable)? I don't want to sound unappreciative that this has been re-released, but come on... As mentioned, you can use the existing RC10 Classic motor plate, or any original motor plate that had holes for a stealth transmission. Yo...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I'm curious about mounting the electronics all on the right-hand side? Is that just for wiring convenience? Or does it perhaps balance the weight of the motor which hangs further out to the left side? Also, is the front of your body held in place by the shock tower? Or is there Velcro in there some...
