Re: All original Scorpion from eBay UK

Ordered a repro body and wing for this car last week. Got set of repro decals from Canada last year. I stripped and painted the rims but the silver didn't come up well despite some good base coats. Maybe I'll fork out for alloy rims!

Hi all,

Looks like front tyres were realised late summer, any suggestions on where to buy in UK if at all?

Cheers and Happy New Year!

Re: Cut & shut childhood racer - my trashed Scorpion

You'll notice that in fact I added black features to the body first of all. Then backed up the red with silver as suggested by Arcocustom. Got some really good lines and some not so good with the Tamiya tape. I have also decided to add a feature of white circles on the doors to place the number 4 de...

Re: Cut & shut childhood racer - my trashed Scorpion

My first ever efforts in painting lexan with horribly poisonous Tamiya paints. Really horrible chemicals. http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab319/danrkelly/F3BC3619-3BC9-43F2-A06F-21B1EAD24897_zpshgj3i5xh.jpg Making window masks. http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/ab319/danrkelly/36883389-5E67-4DCF...

Dear friends: Tamiya X1 paint marker on lexan?

Dear folk of the forum, Would you be so good as to give your opinions on this question? Could I use a Tamiya X1 paint marker to touch up a lexan body? Just tiny areas really but don't want to melt the shell. I need a black touch-up options, don't want to spend another £5 + £6 shipping on a whole can...

Picked these up for less than £4. Hoping they'll fit my old Beetle/Tomahawk rims.
