Ordered a repro body and wing for this car last week. Got set of repro decals from Canada last year. I stripped and painted the rims but the silver didn't come up well despite some good base coats. Maybe I'll fork out for alloy rims!

Dear folk of the forum, Would you be so good as to give your opinions on this question? Could I use a Tamiya X1 paint marker to touch up a lexan body? Just tiny areas really but don't want to melt the shell. I need a black touch-up options, don't want to spend another £5 + £6 shipping on a whole can...

Picked these up for less than £4. Hoping they'll fit my old Beetle/Tomahawk rims.
