MIP CVDs vs FT CVAs for B4?

Thinking about upgrading the dogbones on my b4.2rs to CVAs, the MIP kit is a little more expensive than the FT kit, but just a few bux, anyone have a compelling reason to go with one versus the other? They look about the same as far as I can tell. AE sells them both. Thanks.

I dig the IROC, great color and takes me back!
Ditto. I remember my neighbor's mom having one and I thought it was the most awesome car ever.

Re: First time on a track

Went there again last night. Was having trouble controlling the car because the wire end of the antenna got broken off last time and I kept losing control of the car momentarily, lol. Broke a ball cup and luckily the track owner had a spare, and I managed to find the dog bone. I also impacted the re...

Nice car! Sure brings back memories of my first real RC car, a Sand Scorcher. I may need to pick one up...

Re: Hot Trick ESC?

@ MK-zero: does yours also have Race Prep wires? I don't believe so, I'm out of town now or I would check. What ever they are, they are nice wires, pretty large gauge with soft silicone insulation. To me, mine looks a bit more primative that yours, with the exposed fuse, or what ever that things is...

My phpBB board that I administer does that sometimes too... usually resolves itself in a day or two.

Re: First time on a track

Addictive, isn't it? I have a 40x80 track carved out on my own property, but I still go to one of the local tracks nearly every weekend. Gets boring running by yourself. That, and my home track is not 1/10 2WD friendly, built more around 1/10 4WD SCT & 1/8 buggy/truggy. yeah, no doubt. Looking ...

Re: Great for kids! Revell "Beastie Bug"

that's why I'm gravitating toward something more like a crawler for him, nice and slow and can go over a lot of what he will plow it into, lol.
I'll probably start taking him to a big grassy field pretty soon and start letting him drive my b4 with the throtttle turned way down in the mean time.

Re: First time on a track

I would probably want to go after 8pm or so, after my son goes to sleep. The Yard is only open from 5-11 pm, wednesday to sunday. Last night I was there from about 9 to 1030.

Re: First time on a track

Brian, shoot me a message before you go out again, I'll see if I can meet up with ya (if it isnt during the week). I haven't been to the Yard, but I have been to LRH. I'm just off Imperial & the 91, down the street from ya. At the yard, I bet Proline Calibers or bigger pin rear tire with standa...

Re: First time on a track

Running my rc10 b4.2 rs. Not the bug, lol. Other than me sucking at driving, the car handles and jumps awesome, and is pretty fast on the straights. Seems pretty durable too, I had bunch of really harsh crashes and the only thing I managed to break was the cheap servo that came with it. Good excuse ...

Re: First time on a track

What are your driving your VW?? Not sure I understand your question? Yeah, I guess I'm pretty lucky. There's another rc track I haven't been to that I think is a mile or two from my house, its an indoor track. Maybe I'll check that one out some time soon too. The Yard is 10 bux to run, I think the ...
