Found out last night when I tried to put my jellybean wheels on my front axles, I guess my car has adapter axles on the front? The Tamiya wheels/bearings fit, but the axles are too big for the AE stuff. Now I guess I need to buy some new front axles...

That sounds pretty similar to what I'm going to do (if I understand you correctly), but I was going to make a bracket out of aluminum. Do you have a pic of what you are describing?

I think for now I'll stick with the Ti tower and Kyosho front shocks, they're part of what makes the car unique.
