Re: saved from the closet: late 80's RC10 with vintage hop-u

That is a good day... got lucky with the new receiver too. Yup, for sure! I called HP first and the kid I got a hold of said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to go through AE. Re: saved from the closet: late 80's RC10 with vintage hop-u

Re: saved from the closet: late 80's RC10 with vintage hop-u

That sounds pretty similar to what I'm going to do (if I understand you correctly), but I was going to make a bracket out of aluminum. Do you have a pic of what you are describing?

Re: saved from the closet: late 80's RC10 with vintage hop-u

Cleaned up the Hot Trick ESC tonight, looks much better! http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p29/mk-Zero/RC/2014-01-12211127_zps57b64cc8.jpg~original I also modified the trans brace I bought to work with the MIP trans. The MIP doesn't have any mounting holes on it, and its a bit tall, so I just short...

Re: saved from the closet: late 80's RC10 with vintage hop-u

Alright, you guys convinced me. You are a persuasive lot, lol. I think this quote from Phin sums up the situation: You've got a great start for a restoration build but a lousy start for a runner build.  I see you can buy a RTR (yeah, I know, but I dont really have time to build a car, id rather get ...
