Re: My worlds car.....gets mangled

Thanks for all the condolences. You know Geico or Allstate would've been talking about "it's a total loss". The only thing that kinda pisses me off is when I first got it I was just off road bashing with the thing....Then I cleaned it up real good, got some hop ups n it was running so smoo...

My worlds car.....gets mangled

I'm tellin you, it was heinous.....mad heinous. The thing just took off by itself...5700kv geared high Goes across a parking lot full throttle into the curb. It smashed the curb at like what must've been at least 50...the tires are screaming, it fights it's way up the curb....and somehow ends up in ...

Re: RE RE STEALTH TRANS

I used the b4 top shaft (on two stealths) and it works perfect (with the vts slipper).....without any spacers needed.

Reading the comments in that linked thread, it sounds like spacers are needed....wierd. I hope I'm not doing anything wrong...It seems perfect to me.

Re: RE RE STEALTH TRANS

What about the diff gears themselves....you have the cream colored one (that comes with the worlds car) where the balls fall right in and then the black one(that comes in the stealth kit) ) where you have to press the balls down into place. Is one preferred over the other??? Seems like the only repl...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit

I just received a #6560 kit from Stormer and it has a Chinese case in it. I don't think I'm too happy about that. What's your opinions? That's messed up....I feel bad I mentioned that place having them to you. I thought it was the "stealth Kit 6560" that I had bought which it obviously is...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit

I think I'm gonna get another kit directly from AE tonight myself. ....along with some stealth cases. When I got my first Worlds car (have two) and I built it , being that I was waiting for a top shaft to get sent in to me from AE, I just threw in the US stealth kit....and ended up throwing the Chin...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit

So what do you guys think?? You think they're just blowing it out and gonna discontinue the kit, or are gonna correct the issues and keep pumping them out??

Re: Diff gear question....

I was probably putting on a lil too much.
I'd squeeze some in the hole, put the balls in n then give them a small glob on top.

The thrust bearings, I went pretty heavy on that too

Re: Diff gear question....

Thanks Now that I put it back together(wih new rings, gear and balls) the wheels spin in opposite directions as they should when I turn one by hand. The rings were looking pretty tore up too. Are the carbide balls a lot more durable/longer lasting than the standard?? I'm not a racer so I'm mostly ask...

Re: Help Me Rebuild My Original RC10

Nah, no issues at all..... And personally, I like the case that comes with the kit (US version) better than the one that's readily available. (The one that comes with the worlds car) ....... Me, being fairly new to rc and kit building, the stealth is so much easier to work on. I'm sure to the vets i...
