Re: Tonight was a wheel polishing night.
These wheels look fantastic - even on the Ultima :D What's goin' on with the wing though? Looks rather flaccid. Yeah, it looks like the Ultima spent some time on it's roof before I picked it up. I haven't put any thing in the Ultima so far. I don't think it needs to spend more time on it'...

Re: Vaguely mysterious wheels - help please folks
Hey I have those tires and wheels too, I mean the rears. Also have the same shocks, are they period correct for this buggy or belong to another? Those look correct from when we had the Cat. They wore down real quick on the street so we had to do the hot glue trick to give it traction in the dirt ag...

I sold the RTR version my brother and I started with a long time ago. It was a good car, and I wanted someone else to enjoy the car.

I've noticed. Even the RTR tires for my Stampede are pricey.BMKTW2 wrote:Tires are expensive. Try and match brand wheel with tire.
I was able to buy 3 pairs of various tires for my Clodbuster for $15 a set of 4 with wheels and bought all he had.

Re: Another re-release from Tamiya
I've loved the Monster Beetle since I first saw one when I was 7 or 8. Always hoped Tamiya would re-release one since the auctions for nice built ones were so expensive. I couldn't even imagine a kit. Got lucky a few weeks ago and picked this up for $150. Not sure if I am going to build it or keep i...

I'm amazed with how big the truggy is! Here its next to my 1/10th scale stadium truck and 2.2 tire: http://imageshack.us/a/img194/933/d8ka.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img18/1068/61v1.jpg Darn this board... these pictures convinced me to buy one to convert to electric while I am in the middle of fina...

Thanks for the info. I picked it up but haven't decided if I'm keeping it for certain. I've picked up a lot of stuff recently, so this might have to go.

$99? Wow.
Have you seen anybody use Ofna electric parts to convert this truggy?
Ah, found RC Product Designs makes a conversion kit. Almost as much as the kit! Dang.

Schumacher RS 4x4 Road & Track?
Hi, I have an opportunity to buy the Schumacher RS, new in box (see below) for $150. But I can't find much information about it. http://i.imgur.com/xoSCB77.jpg All I've found is it is based on the Pro Cat. Not too much to work off of. I've never had a Schumacher. I've seen the pictures of the Pro Ca...
