CR truck bodies have proved to be quite the difficult find.

What is the issue?

Here's the mounted body.

Depending on how much the bushing car was ran, grooves could have developed in the axle(s). If that has happened, you will have to replace the front and rear axles. They will have grooves that installing a bearing will not fix.

Silver shocks on an XXT indicate it may have once been a sport model.

Definitely! When my XX-4 is done being painted I'll send this one off.

I say stay away from the box art paint. With all the box art bodies I see for sale, they don't have the feel they once did. I kind of keep scrolling past them, if you know what I mean. Personalizing it would make it your own, and a good painter should be able to recreate some killer early paint jobs...

Here's XX-4 number 2, Heavy Metal. The car looks really good. But, it needs a new steering rack since this one appears to be stripped, the rear hinge pin brace, front yokes since one is broken. I'd also like to swap these CVD's out for original u-joints. All in time. Enjoy the photos. http://s26.pos...

Looks like you've done a fantastic job cleaning cars up.
