My father built my sister's dollhouse around 1987 or so from a kit also which they still have to this day. The amount of work that must be is unreal.

One thing that should be mentioned is the decals. I had a TON of problems with my vintage set due to their age. I also build scale models so decaling to me is pretty darned easy. Even with MicroSol and the likes, several of mine were destroyed and completely disintegrated. I also had this issue buil...

Awesome addition and I too am lucky enough to own one. I posted a resto-build thread over at TC, but I got the car for free (in shambles actually) and restored it with the help of a couple of generous persons' parts.
