Re: Aftermarket differential for Kyosho Raider
Mark was a huge help in helping me source the parts I needed to make install an aftermarket diff in my Raider and talk me through it. I recently followed the same plan he developed and I made a Youtube DYI video on it. This option should not only prove to be much stronger than the stock Raider diff ...

Re: Thinking about dyno's for brushed motors
Very cool, thanks for sharing! Would love to see more runs! I'm gonna have to make an excel spreadsheet or something to keep track, I have 70 some motors I can run. Did get around to testing the Speed Gems Amber 17x2 earlier today, not at my workbench at the moment but it did around 28,500 rpm @ 7....

Re: Thinking about dyno's for brushed motors
Just finished a complete rebuild of my brother's Rc10T4 and rebuilt a few motors to test in it. The three motors were; Speedworks Tony Neisinger signature 14x4, Trinity Speed Gems Pro Amber 17x2, and Speed Gems Topaz 11x3. I got pulled away before testing the Speed Gems Amber, but tested the other ...

56 MPH 3S Turbo Raider
So I have got a little wild and silly with my Raider but she is officially a ripper. I have videos on my Youtube channel of how I make a series of bad decisions to end up with a car that is 3 times faster than it was designed to be.... but it is a lot of fun! I am trying to take it easy on the trans...

Re: Rear Shafts for Optima/Ultima - Will Re Re Parts Fit?
Ive been using Xtra Speed CV shafts in all my new , and resto work. Check RC Mart. Nice quality pieces at a reasonable price. The rere's will fit too I am sorry, can you please post a link? I can't seem to find one that would fit Kyosho cars. These RC Mart CV shafts are a direct fit for the Ultima/...

She hit 40+ mph today.... and I am done! As long as that diff holds, it is an outstanding setup for this car!

Rear Shafts for Optima/Ultima - Will Re Re Parts Fit?
I just replaced the rear shafts in my Raider with a set a buddy gave me and my Ultima's are almost as toasted and need to be replaced too. It looks like OT-18 is the correct vintage rear shaft but I was wondering if there is a Re Re part that will fit/a cheaper option? They OT-18s are not crazy expe...

Arrma .8 Mod Pinion Work for us?
I was looking for a .8 mod pinion for my Raider that wasn’t over priced (32 pitch would probably work but was being OCD). This Arrma pinion looks like it could be perfect. https://www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-steel-mod-0.8-pinion-gear-18t-ara310758/p-qtavtaeqnz2xactz?gclid=CjwKCAjwzruGBhBAEiwAUqMR8DZt...
