That's looking good. I really should put some time in mine again but as it will spend most of the time on a shelf it keeps falling lower on the priority list. Right at the top now is its kid brother: this 1/10 hybrid I'm preparing for a race at the end of february. 4235E261-4B29-4D08-A54D-AC53B4A1D1...

... Also you may want to try putting the link on the bottom at the spindle instead of the top. The more parallel the tie rods are to the lower arm the less bump steer you will have. Even if you do dual cranks you will still want to ensure they are parallel. To be able to keep the steering rods para...

Try to convert to a dual bellcrank steering setup. Without that bumpsteer is impossible to get corrected on both sides.

Re: GV (Great Vigor) Hunter 1:8 4WD Nitro Buggy?

I bought into the whole 1/8th thing and got 2 buggies almost simultaneously both with the intention of making them electric. Also have an inferno ds which i converted years ago. As it happens all 3 of them originally use 19mm wheel hexes but none interchangeable. Got me some adapters to put 17mm whe...

thanks: I added these about 6 months ago to my ebay wishlist. I expect this to be too large though and with the new import regulations to europe trial and error has become an expensive method

Re: Ronin Marui Samurai runner build

I ran a falcon in the other heats of this class : 5 runs without even having to touch a single thing. It wasn't quiet a stock falcon of course but still did a much better job than my turbo ultima i ran in another class. Granted the ultima went faster but managed to drop out of the race nearly 5 out ...

How about using Kyosho Optima press fit hexes for the wheel mount?
That's what I did and it worked for a while but one of the 4 wheels came loose twice in the same heat. I'm thinking of trying mr4bc axles with mx4 wheels next.

Re: Ronin Marui Samurai runner build

I ran my dolphin for the first time at a vintage event last weekend. The drive train : super efficient and incredibly silent : the opposite of my expectations for a chain drive. Nothing got permanently damaged either but it popped out a front dogbone within 30 seconds from the start and a rear wheel...
