Re: Traxxas Hawk rebuild
Very cool that it's your actual truck from way back when. Looking forward to the progress, as I've always kinda wanted to get one of these (or a Hawk 2) to do a rebuild. I've kept an eye out for some time now and have actually passed on a couple that looked like good candidates for a rebuild. The Ha...

Re: Losi XX Kinwald Trinity build
Excellent build, its a beauty. Would also look killer with blue wheels, but the black is just as good or better. Indeed it's much better with electronics in my opinion, especially with what's chosen, fantastic. Anything for a servo?

Re: Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck rebuild (Team version)
Looking great! This is making me want to put some electronics in mine. Do it! Just don't enter yours in the same build of the month as I do. I don't want you taking all the votes for anyone who would vote for a Pro XRT just because one shows up to the party  Which old school Le Mans motor that...

Re: Jurassic Park project
Bouncing between rod work and the Jurassic Park diorama today. Was able to get all the trees/jungle background done. I used a method model railroaders use. Clipped some dead branches off one of my juniper bushes out back, stripped the needles, put some poly fiber in spots on it and spray adhesive. T...

Re: RC10 A+ Buggy Project
I figured out what I wanted to do with the nose tubes. Attaching them to my steering servo mount ended up being a simple solution. I also built up and installed a set of CVD axles. All that's left is to install the electrics and go driving. . PXL_20220704_021440309.jpg . PXL_20220704_021600351~2.jpg

Re: Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck rebuild (Team version)
Much thanks to Ed for the white spring retainers/locators that look great resting up against his shock clamps. Much better than the large black spring retainers pictured in the previous post.

Because I was told to do so lol
I'm going to put that nice looking graphite back together after I tear it down and clean it up.

Re: Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck rebuild (Team version)
Freshened up 240S. All new Kyosho springs, Trinity brushes, bearings, 19T single armature and MCI decal. I bought this motor on ebay and it unfortunately came with a double wind armature, the 240S is a 19T single motor. I came across a brand new Trinity/Epic 19x1 armature so I picked it up for this ...

Re: NIB TRX-1....Build it?
OK. Now it's telling me to build it. I finally found a SWB chassis and I want to build it on that. However, after much scrutinizing of the eBay pics of the one with the SWB chassis that I "won", I failed to notice that the steering post mounting holes in the chassis have been enlarged and ...
