Finished this. Need to order another decal sheet to replace a couple stripe decals I jacked up. Last r/c body I painted was nearly 30 years ago. Not great, but I'm ok with it.

Re: FanRC FR01 TEN4.1 (Revised)
This evening I made just a little change to the bellcrank mounts, and it resulted in fixing probably 75% of my steering radius issue. I honestly thought this part of the fix would have the least result, but it did wonders. I ended up printing new bellcrank nuts/ mounts, but this is not necessary, as...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I was actually thinking about another run of those with the stealth trans being back now. They would be changed up from originals of course though.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I'm gonna break the rules and post a picture that I've never actually taken. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. This image is from Google maps. This "T" shaped bridge is the exact spot where the Enola Gay dropped "Little Boy" on August 6th, 1945. hiroshima.jpg That domed struc...

and the graphite finally makes an appearance
6030 graphite? They are showing the 89 car and description so it's hard to say for certain, but they don't show any other older kits- 6010, 6011, etc ..

Re: Losi XXT Restoration Project
Should be the last set of parts to finish have arrived. I found a Lunsford Ti Hinge Pin kit on ebay and had to get them. KNK sent me the replacement screw kit and my new motor mount arrived. Plan to button this up with the Factory Works motor centering kit and call it mechanically done. IMG_3897.jpe...

Re: NEOTRX-1
Back end's done. Quite a bit of fettling with the printed parts. The hinge pin holes were 3mm instead of 1/8" (3.18mm), so I had to ream those. The 5x11x4mm bearings wouldn't fit without some work. Traxxas rear arm mounts needed minor dremeling for outdrive clearance. Rear.jpg Best to use a goo...

Team Losi XX-4
In 1997 Team Losi once again launched themselves onto the world racing stage when they unveiled their 1/10 electric 4wd buggy, the XX-4. Four-wheel drive electric buggy racing had its first IFMAR (and ROAR) championships in 1991 and while it was quickly overshadowed by the popularity of stadium (nee...

Re: 2025 21.5 Pre-Pro SE buggy
Tore into the trans. Built well, diff is solid. Outdrive bearings were rubber shielded and as stiff as bushings, so I replaced them with some silky ones from another trans. I never realized how tight the Losi tolerances were. Good god that was a pain in the ass to change! Trans is much smoother, sti...

Re: New Build - NIB B2 Japan Export
Ok. It's been awhile, but my memory doesn't agree with your comment. I don't recall you specifying to me that you just "tossed in some period correct tires". I was led to believe that Jap kit came with different tires. I wouldn't intentionally mislead a buyer by not specifying this if it w...
