About a million tiny changes later and the steering works albeit needing bent track rods , now just have to settle on shocks, kind of had my heart set on not cutting up the chassis but I don't think I can do it in a satisfactory way other than trimming the top the shock mounts a bit . 20220716_16312...

Unlike the other two, this one looks and feels like somebody actually took care of it. Suspension doesn't bind, differentials are smooth, hinge pins don't appear to be bent, not all gritty.

15mm longer arms and the gearbox is free floating :D need to make a panhard rod to stop lateral movement , top right arm is pretty close to the motor so I'll move it outward 4mm at the axle end , the arms came out more parallel than I planned anyway , the JRX2 arms flare outward more and that's the ...

I have multiple Bolinks in better condition (Sport, Eliminator, Road Pro), but none of them excite me as much as this POS. For the longest time, and this is still true for the most part, I cared about "my prime" RC time, about 1984-1991, but more and more, the older stuff is interesting me.
