Re: TOMY Intruder - now complete
Found a few more GPM alloy parts for this so on they go.... super-rare top deck and also the steering link. Just the front and rear gearbox eccentrics to add now. I have also added some Japanese mag decals across the battery straps and switched the motor to a red prism label 30deg 1990 Demon 27turn ...

Re: SG PRIMA - Bandit Inox A2
That looks stunning , I've never seen servo mounts like those , very clever . The fine polishing scratches might be from dirt in the cloth and they also look Linea , polishing should be done in a circular motion but don't let it detract from such a beautiful car , well done

Re: SERPENT 988e Taipan
This is an incredible build and such a cool looking car. I love all the polished aluminum pieces. I know how much work goes into getting these results. Thanks for sharing.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I don't know what it's going into, but this Novak Micro GT with a Mini-Monster mod motor was just too cool to pass up. So was the nice Twister motor.
Now I have to figure out what sort of battery connector that is.

Re: HPI Street Machine restoration

Re: HPI Street Machine restoration
Since the original chassis was essentially junk, I fired up my cad program and drew a new one and sent to Jeff at Factory Works. Not long after it arrived in the mail. The quality he puts out is simply amazing! Thanks Jeff! IMG_20220409_201755.jpg IMG_20220409_202820.jpg Rebuilt the rear pod and che...

Kyosho Lazer ZX-S Evolution
Hi all, recently I was fortunate to acquire a ZX-S Evo that started build a little but stopped. Except for 2 bags all others had been opened. It made good sense then to build the car and check what could be missing. Plus I have always wanted to build this rare car. The car had the front end assemble...

Re: Kyosho Lazer ZX-S Evolution
The motor plate / rear upper carbon plate bulkheads are rather unique. Although fiddly to put together the end result is rather special in my opinion. It's very open though with all pulleys exposed. Here it is with the Hyper Clutch slipper and one-way pulley in place. I found out I'm missing one spa...

Re: Kyosho Lazer ZX-S Evolution
With the 4wd drivetrain in place the Lazer lineage is evident - 2 belt system over the midship motor. The Evo comes with a motor spacer/heatsink. The ZX-S had a plate spacer like that on the Turbo Optima.
