Re: Traxxas Bullet Refresh

Well I think I got it wired correctly. If/when I put power on it, we'll see. :D IMO, looks so much better without the brick there! The body and roll cage are probably going to end up being future projects, so it will probably be sitting like this for a while, which I am perfectly fine with. As with ...

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

So, from the very few pics I am gathering from the interwebs, the FDR I am coming up with 6" Clod tires, is in the ballpark of 20:1. I know nothing about what motors are being run in these scenarios, just that they are running double pinon-spurs, at around 20/90 each. I decided to take inspirat...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

That was not exactly today, but was yesterday... I went to Montluçon to a vintage event organized by the "Mini Racing du Centre" : Montluçonnaise 2024. I loaded the car on Friday morning, including a set up to allow me to sleep in... About 21 cars made the travel this time, and that's far ...

Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)

The body is finished apart from the MCI stickers that are on the way. Not too shabby considering what it looked like. 1.jpg On to the first modification. The front track is only about 215mm, which is too narrow for my liking. There's also no front kickup plus hardly any castor. To cure this, I made ...

Re: RC Top Faux Buff CAT 10

Never done. 😂 The nylon front rack is super durable, but too flexible. A new fiberglass rack from Factory Works fixed that problem. . 1000011265.jpg . 1000011267.jpg . 1000011272.jpg . While I had the front shocks out, they got changed from gold to silver springs. The front suspension is now much mo...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Slightly different setup than tow weeks ago as this time the event is nearby, and I won't spend the night in the car... https://i.imgur.com/KLn6Bzf.jpeg The car is ready, the target is to take off around 7am tomorrow morning. I left a bit of place for the Fantom and for my son's Lunchbox (he will on...

Re: TAG Navajo (Pro)

Machined up some 6061 aluminium stub axles to replace the 5mm diameter steel bolts that are used. In stock form the front wheels spin on the bolts without bearings. The front Coyote wheels will be replaced with something suitable.
