It arrived yesterday and I couldn’t help finishing it- everything was there  It’s not the cleanest design, and it’s surely not the strongest...

Re: Very young youngtimer ;) Hot Bodies D413

Lots and lots of elbow-grease and sore wrists and hands...either with fine grit wet-sanding or a polishing bit & compound with a Dremel, I'm guessing. Nice work there.

Re: Very young youngtimer ;) Hot Bodies D413

Very nice work! What did you use to remove the anodizing? Easy Off oven cleaner. Let it soak for a few minutes, brush off with toothbrush and rinse with water. Wear gloves because the oven cleaner will irritate your skin. Sometimes you'll see a dark grey smut appear, I think it depends on the quali...

Re: Turbo Optima mid SE

Decided to test fit and trim the belt covers. Probably will use 3M double stick to hold the covers and just a couple screws. Some basic assembly of the chassis is required and I wanted to see a few of the other parts assembled. A couple screw holes need a little drop of CA to "tighten" the...
