Re: Kyosho Javelin Arrives in KY
Very nice find , I personally love chain drive but if you have the conversion kit sitting there it's almost rude not to use it .

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Four PB Mini Mustang arms. Three look brand new , the fourth has some scuffing but they were sold as new or good used condition so pretty pleased , they were a late Christmas present from my wife .

Re: Land Speed Rocket Car
I'd wish you "god speed" but with the fire and brimstone coming out the back maybe "the luck of the devil " is more apt

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
I recently bought some Polypropylene (PP) filament , the type of plastic used for Tuperware food storage containers . Reason being I was pretty sure it's what was used for PB Mini Mustang suspension components , I'm even more sure now . I'd seen a few YouTube tutorials on printing with it and althou...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
20240104_184451.jpg There is a quick down and dirty solution though , most regular sticky tape is PP so you just tape up the bed and print on the tape , now I tried this but I used a smooth PEI bed plate that may have been the problem as the filament stuck very well to the tape but the tape peeled ...

Re: Graupner/Mugen Mercury CAD model...
Back when I was as school I did try making a mould and there is more to it even if you use plaster , we tried to do a Ford RS200 body and what we didn't expect was that the weight of the plaster bowed out the sides of the body and distorted it so you need to put a support frame around the outside as...

Re: Hobbywing 1060 ESC - Brushed Motor - No Brakes, No Reverse
After playing around with this for a while, I got it to work. I had to create a new model in the DX5C, Bind the SR6100AT to it, then there is a calibration sequence that has to be done immediately after initiating the Bind, by pressing throttle full/neutral/reverse, then left, middle, right on the ...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
I'm so impressed with this PP filament , I've been doing some destructive testing on a couple of parts , firstly the first warped print I've been repeatedly bending it double then the other way , I've managed to mangle it but I can't break it  then i though what about the suspension pin holes...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
Just printed this Mini Mustang bumper mount in PP , entirely printed on support material , I thought it would be a thorough test of how hard it would be to remove the support material , I was pleasantly surprised , while it's not the easiest it was not as bad as I expected and the print surface afte...

I'll get the congratulations in straight away . Advice They are not made of glass , baby's are quite resilient really . Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Cheating a bit as it's a YouTube clip but it was today and by me . I've suspected we had a badger coming to our garden for over a year but never seen it , then last week my wife and daughter came home after dark and saw it scurrying off , that was enough for me to go on Amazon and find a cheap night...

Re: RC10T 3D printed rear bulkhead
Nicely made part , I did try ABS CF and was never really sure if the CF brought anything to the party , it tends to make things stiffer but ABS is pretty stiff already , looks very pretty though and is easier to print than regular ABS .
