Re: Marui Samurai 4WD - Another SilverTriple's journey...
Looks like you've lost part of the bearing seat for the sprocket output , the same thing happened on one of my gearboxes , I designed a fix pictured below , happy to share the STL .

Can't wait to see another Samurai back on the road

Re: srBFF Silliness Build
modelled up a test piece for mounting the trailing arms , quite tricky as the axle is 70 degrees angled from the pivot pin and the pin is 5 degrees angled from the chassis , I also gave it 0.5 degree toe in on each rear wheel , not sure if I'll fit it to the stock chassis or cut a whole chassis plat...

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
You tell people it's not easy but unless you actually know what your talking about and you have an original in your hands then you just can't see it , the whole thing is just wrong for FDM .

Re: Dadio's 3D Printing Stuff
I've already made screw fixing points in the model and none are externally visible , the model you linked is beyond me as of yet and for some time to come but looks very nice .

Re: Coyote time!
She's looking fine
totally minty, do you have the metal diff gears? If you're running it I'd soak the spur gear in water to rehydrate for a day or two. Mine looked good but turned to powder after a few runs.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
One of the joys in this world , recieving deliveries from Jeff at Factory Works , a replica original Bolink Digger chassis and also a modified variant of the Digger chassis . Beautiful as usual :D IMG_20211223_140439_556.jpg IMG_20211223_140453_170.jpgIMG_202...

Re: Wondering about the new old buggies
The major advantage is run time. You got five minutes with a spirited brushed motor back in the day. Now with a mild brushless system and lipo battery, you get the same performance but for 30+ minutes and then the motor is still cool so you can just stick another lipo in and go again! I've got two r...
