I think this should work , I've made two types of mount , a stock type for the shelf only as its too flimsy and a strong version that has an upper deck shown fitted to the car , testing begins now on this new mount and bell cranks , the bell cranks are probably stronger and more rigid than the stock...

Rear mono shock suspension works well , it really ruins the jumping characteristics though just like the original , I've been driving the twin rear shock Delta like setup for most of my testing and the balance is so much better when jumping but the parts for the mono setup are all good to go .

From that description its pretty clearly a mini mustang , full chassis and same arms all round , thank you , not sure witch I was hoping for but its the mustang I remember not the maxima and the performance difference means very little , I do like the maxima body better though .

Its a single belt from the gears to both ends , no direct gear drive to either end .

The diff bearings arrived today so i fitted them and added some lube to the diffs , also changed the servo while i was there . I 3d printed some drive flanges and a spur gear cover as well , threw some borrowed Hot Shot wheels on and now she's a roller ! Here are a few pictures including the Kydex b...

I milled a slot in the inside of the bumper mount to clear the diff , there's no contact , its 3mm thick Kydex and the slot is 2 mm deep on the inside for clearance , my only fear is its being too strong and transferring too much force into the backbone in a crash , I did think of 3d printing a bump...
