That's a beautiful piece of engineering , I've never seen an alloy chassis that's used as a flexing suspension piece assisted by shocks before , I've seen it with fibre glass before .

Oh your using one 4mm thick bearing , it all makes sense now , my old brain is easily confudalated , I'll get them printed now .

That's bad luck with the chassis , sometimes there's just no fixing things and with Fusion you often don't know why you can't fix it ? Glad you get it done in the end , it's looking good

Some of the pictures are of cars so modified it's untrue , a Grasshopper with a hotshot gearbox and double wishbone front suspension , the prototype Samurai on track and to my surprise a heavily modded SRB still kicking in 85

The front bulkhead is a pain to measure and copy exactly , I had the same problem with the angles on the front .

As mentioned by Silvertripple Shapeways has the gearbox for sale and I've bought one and can verify it's good probably better than the original , gears again as Silvertripple says the Hitec Aristocraft Dolphin or Kangaroo gears are a drop in fit , the front bulkhead/body mount can be found new on eB...

You won't be disappointed with the Turbo Scorpion , I've had the Re Re Scorpion for a few years and I've given it hell , it's not a bad basher and I don't feel guilty as it's a modern copy , it won't handle like a modern car but it's great fun .

With reference to the upgrade GRP chassis plate you do both know that the owner of Factory Works is our very own GoMachV , Jeff is the go to guy for CNC cut GRP chassis parts and into 3d printing too .
