I thought of mounting a small forward rocket that pushes back and is set off on a timer...basically a reverse thruster

"TRX-2" ('92 Reedy Race Inspired)

I'm gonna build something like this: Screenshot_20231003_135336_Samsung Notes.jpg Screenshot_20231003_135323_Samsung Notes.jpg Looks like a TRX-1 on a TRX-3 prototype chassis from the limited pics. So not going to be a true replica. Color pic: Seems to be a carbon adapter plate on the rear bulkhead ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

A bit of an eclectic haul today of good parts. I was actually upset when I saw these Proline wheels had sold on eBay. I was mad at myself for not grabbing them. I had completely forgotten I had ordered them. I was happily surprised when I opened the package tonight.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

My cat fell ill, recently, and I had to put him down just a couple weeks shy of his 15th birthday. During the week we were waiting for test results I stayed home and took a lot of pictures. I snapped this one of him starting his daytime snooze out back and have it as my lock screen on my phone. Late...

Re: Brushed motor diode/cap/???

Well, modern radios are technically safer for old cars, nothing worse than a bad glitch or runaway which causes you to break something rare, hard to find and expensive....

Re: Hirobo 44Bs and Zerda :)

I'm missing an upper arm for the 44B Long Wheel base chassis... As far as I know, there is only one piece missing for the Zerda and it is the 18T MXL pulley. I have one in aluminium, but I believe it is to soft, as I can mark the surface easily with a screwdriver. In the meantime, that should allow ...

Re: Frankenshorty RC10 buggies - #1: USWB Race Replica

I've started experimenting with airbrushing. I definitely need more practice and need to figure out a better way to clean up the spray tool between colors (7 colors including backers!), but the paint job turned out better than I anticipated. The mighty mini needed some non hand-me-down clothes. . PX...

Re: What is the rarest R/C part you have

How about this? 20231012_071525.jpg 20231012_071605.jpg Rare because 1. It's a unique body design; 2. It's a body I painted, with more than one colour; and 3. It's a completed project. At my house. Completed by me.   I mean, I could talk about the Schumacher Daytona nitro pan c...

Re: Meteor axles & restomod

For the g27 you want a final drive ratio of between 5.9 and 6.1 depending on the track and tires your running. Where abouts in Nz are you based marky?
