I found Pukka Parts on Facebook, with this SRB conversion kit. It's more or less an MIP style setup.
Really nicely done stuff, a combo of frp and printed parts.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Excited to receive this gem of a Kyosho Pro-X yesterday. Been waiting about 3 years to find one of these that didn't cost a fortune to go along with the Pro-XRT. Re: Making a carbon fiber rc10t chassis the Competent way
Have not been documenting, Technique This technique seems ok for my skill level. I cast what I am calling a fiberglass slipper. It conforms to the surface well, but is still thin and flexible so it can demold without cracking like a stiffer mold would. I then make sure I can demold it, then reinforc...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Whilst part of the world celebrates the ancient Chinese tradition of fireworks ( :P ), here in Downunderville we're having what was supposed to be a *record mild winter*, you know, due to Global Boiling and all that. So, here's a picture of Señor Pooch, taking in a zero degree morning earlier this w...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A pair of these , £12 delivered , no branding or side wall lettering but I'm still happy at the price . Anybody any ideas of what they are ? IMG_20240706_213236_267~2.jpg Maybe? These? They sure look like the same ones, but I rarely really know what I'm talking about. Screenshot_20240707-0545...

Re: Mods That Make You Go.... Eewww.
Oh sweet, sweet baby Jesus. I could go on for days about some of the stuff that drives me up the walls in the world of R/C. - Painted chassis parts would have to be my biggest. Why? WHY????? Ugh. - Botched hardware replacement? I've seen ppl rebuild with giant, oversized self-tapping screws?? Argh! ...

Re: Mods That Make You Go.... Eewww.
Cutting down body posts to make them the minimal height needed. Oh they're just cheap body posts. Just replace them if a different body ever needs them to be longer. Only my personal preference... I always cut my posts down to fit the body. I just can't stand the way it looks when people lea...

Re: Meteor axles & restomod
Just got a 2nd older SWB meteor for my son + some parts from mardave while I'm in the UK.
This one has a bust shell, a bust rear shock and a bit of corrosion.
Will be replacing all the hardware, swapping to an ESC & tidying everything up.

World Engines Dealer Application
From the late '80s I believe as it came with this 1988 World Engines catalog: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=49689 It's incredible to me that some of these documents are still around, in the condition they are, and altogether. worldenginesapp1.jpg worldenginesapp2.jpg worldenginesapp3.jpg
