Re: Shock Ball ends.
The originals are going to be hard to find now as the source is drying up. You can use alternative ones from associated and run a nut behind the ball to approximate the built in spacer on the original. The ones you mentioned will also work with the same spacing.

Re: Parts Needed for re-re's
Mike I have been using Associated 91721 B6 shock ends, and they come with a ball. The length of the ball is shorter than the original, so I often use a small nylon spacer to make up the difference. On Ebay search "Vintage Associated Rc10 Stealth 2.25 Left Diff Outdrive 6578". You will find...

Re: *Parts needed to run modern 2.2 rims/tires on your rc10*
Hello . Well I guess these days 2.2 hex wheels are the new modern . This is my RC10 Conversion and comparison to a B5M. The shapeways arms seem to be duarable took couple hard hits and nothing broke (yet) . :D Front - B4 20 degree caster blocks . B4 steering blocks- lower hinge pins drilled to 1/8 i...

Re: Stealth Trans. Different Stock Numbers
6565 is the original style case which actually fits and works well lol. It is identified by the 4 individual spacers that go between the trans and the motor plate. Use a 6570 idler. 6564 is a pos that was developed for the rere Worlds car. It has the spacers built in and features a tight gear mesh o...

Re: Wheel base RC10CE vs Worlds Car
If you have that blue anodized cone-shaped washer that comes with the Worlds CVA conversion kit put that inboard and maybe like 2 of the 3 thin washers, then put the 3rd outboard. Annoying that you have to do this, but works like a charm. I need to make those extended length outdrives to solve this...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
If these are done with a bolt on nose plate I can help with cutting them, but without a brace up top you will find yourself bending noseplates. Maybe a upper like the ones we use on the CC style kits would help. It would need to be designed for the nix chassis tho

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
How about wheelbase?
I started designing with tub chassis lenght, wheelbase is 268mm, when nose is mounted in it's shortest position. This might be the shortest setup you can still fit a standard size 2S in.

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
Wheelbase is now 275mm. Should we make it longer?
Next step is to design the upper deck. Probably rather traditional design coming up...

Re: Quadra-symmetric RC10
This chassis is not in any way "Quadra specific". It will work with any arms that suits 10T nose setup. Chassis lower deck number is NIX63057 and upper deck is NIX63058. I will send the drawings to GoMachV. 4pcs 1" standoffs and one upper deck front end mounting part needed to complet...

RC10 with gear diff
Hello All, By replacing RC10 stock bulkhead with NIX63231 bulkhead, you'll be able to mount RC10B4 transmission to your RC10 tub or carbon chassis. You don't even need RC10 Stealth transmission holes as this one mounts to stock bulkhead holes and rear holes of classic 6-gear transmission. There's no...

Re: How to mount B4 transmission on RC10?
With the first bulkhead (white SLS + ASC9574 case) I removed the lower section of transmission with a Dremel sanding drum. Easy. With the second bulkhead (grey MJF + ASC9826 case) I tried a flat head cutter. Even easier. TomiS will get the SLS bulkhead to his car and I will upgrade mine with the MJF...

CAD files or 3D scan of stealth transmission case
Hi every,
I was wondering if anyone here has created a CAD file or a 3D scan of an original stealth transmission case that they are willing to share.
I would use this data as a starting point for a project that I am planning.
Thanks, Tony

Re: Parts Needed for re-re's
You can get outdrives from Dynotech Racing. Like $50 a set. Hey Jason- That was a good find. I checked their site and they don't list the outdrives so I reached out to them. However, they have B4 front wheels (wish I knew about this a week ago!) and varying top shafts. I also asked if they could of...
