Re: electricity 101
Chinese Deans are the problem, and like Jeff said real Deans plugs rarely have any issues. Like also mentioned a lot of problems stem from poor soldering and bad connections.

Re: RC10 Noob Questions
.035 for idler gears. New idlers come with a simple Allen key. .050 for pinion and steering linkage. Likely can skip this one! 1/16 for chassis screws. This is the most valuable driver 5/64 only for stealth trans adjustment and you can use a 2mm in its place. Skip this one 3/32 for cap head screws. ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - April 2021 ** Winner - TheDiamondOne
This here is my RC10 street buggy. It started out as a spare parts build and morphed into a little more. It's mostly a basic A stamp with black dyed parts, setup in full long wheelbase. The six gear was rebuilt with some re-re parts and outdrive bearings. - The hex conversion is a little different, ...

Re: RC10 Noob Questions
It’s a 4/40 x 5/8” socket head cap screw with a small pattern 4/40 nut. Wish you were close, they are fairly easy to source here. The nuts may be a challenge overseas. Usually they would have a 1/4” drive, these small pattern nuts have a 3/16 drive

Re: Bluebird Servo's w/Helical Gears, no low profile models.
The linkage angles aren't as good but its doable.
Depending on the design of the servo and the servo horn, it may be possible to mount the linkage on the inside.

Re: Flysky Noble Radio System
I have one, great radio. Build quality is good, and not just "good for a Chinese radio" but genuinely good. Performance is great, too. Low latency with tons of useful adjustment, and a really well laid out user interface.

Re: Where can I buy : small pattern 4/40 nuts
they are smaller than a standard nut. so for instance, a standard 4-40 nut has a 1/4" hex. a small pattern nut has a 3/16"hex and is thinner. they are typically used on later cars, on the ball studs on the shock towers and hubs.

Re: Where can I buy : small pattern 4/40 nuts
Glad I was able to help you out. :) It can be quite difficult to find small specialty hardware. I've spent many hours looking, and places either require you to buy in really large quantities or don't sell to the public. I've found that McMaster-Carr usually has what I'm after. The only complaints I ...

Re: 10T versus WC Trans Cases: Interchangeable?
You will also find the rere worlds cases are a tight mesh to the point that things get notchy. The idler is the part I found was the worst, I have a video showing a stock rere, then swapping the case but leaving the rere idler (requires two sets of bearings) and then swapping the idler as well. The ...

10 years!
Today makes it exactly 10 years since I put down cigarettes for good and became a non smoker. By far one of the top three big choices I have ever made in my life for myself
