Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Made the drive from Pukekohe to Taranaki (about 4.5hrs) to go to WOMAD. World Of Music And Dance. 3 days of international cultural performances. Full of fringe dwellers and weirdo's, my kind of place. It's probably the most chilled event I've ever been to, very family and so relaxed Recommend it if ...

Re: CV Joints for Rocky/Raider and Other Hardware Alternatives
I did away with the springs, pain in the neck. If you use a standard domestic paper hole punch it snips out perfect size circles of thin rubber, i used thin neoprene sheet, and an old mouse pad, These fitted perfectly into the drive cups and provided the bounce needed. Cut foam the same way for rc10...

Re: Optima Mid Turbo LWB Custom special Conversion
So just waiting for shock body, and then i can fit the rest of the radio.

Re: Worth the wait, just released Fibrelyte JRX-Pro carbon chassis
Found this reply from GOMACHV a few years back, he is in the thread and a quote from MYTIMAC who had a comment from Gil Losi Jr regarding the bell cranks.

Re: Worth the wait, just released Fibrelyte JRX-Pro carbon chassis
Playing around with fitting a battery LiPo cradle, Sussed out the pair of rearward holes for the battery clamp aligned with the spacing for the cradle, So i cut some carbon and made a strap across between the tailing arm mounting holes. (not used on the Pro) And drilled/countersunk some M3 screws up...

Re: Turbo Optima Mid Special Annouced!
Must admit I'm a little underwhelmed, Other than the LWB Chassis, radio plate and belt/covers, its no different to my original RERE. I appreciate its not a clone, and its a representation, still they have parts in their catalogue they could of included. It doesn't have sway bars OTW135 No Ball diffe...
