Re: The RC10 I've Always Wanted

Basher Very very nice classic presentation of an RC10. Quite vintage, just like me. I do kind of agree with jwscab though on the wing. Probably just because I'm used to a wing. Really like the driver figure, well done. For me they can be more challenging to paint than the body. Definately a BOM. Chuck

Re: The RC10 I've Always Wanted

Really nice clean build. 8)

I ran those proline waffles BITD and have a set on my short arm car now, a proper period tyre. Agree that it would look good with a wing.

Re: The RC10 I've Always Wanted

I usually prefer a wing, but I think it would ruin the street buggy vibe on this one. Great job.

Re: "Just a Slash" No Prep Drag Car

I just got my 6 sets of the new crawler innovations foams. There is a coupon code that saves you a bit btw. Probably don’t share that too much cause I think it was just for or group hehe. One thing I found out is even though the wheels are vented with the new foams the tires will hold air like crazy...

Texas Winter Storm

I’ve lived in Texas since 1986 and haven’t seen weather like what we’re having this week. Houses and power grid not set up for this. Frozen pipes, no power, store shelves bare, no gasoline, hotels booked, roads treacherous, etc. I even had snow in my attic that blew in through the roof vents, but do...

Re: Mid motor Bandit project

Looks good! That material sounds interesting.

The nitro stampede/rustler/slash trans and rear bulkhead are good candidate as well. Really the only drawback to the nitro trannys is that you can’t fit the modern slipper directly.

Circus Circus evolution to Horizon hobbies

So, my mind is a bit blown. I received a Circus Hobbies era JR radio today and went down the rabbit hole researching. Re: Gold Pan Drag Car

Very very cool Mr. Basher. 37 years and going strong, the RC10 is still showing its versatility. I'm currently building an RC10-based monster truck. BTW, a 1976 (or '78?) Ford Pinto was my sister's second car - her first new car. I still remember her receiving a recall letter to take the car back to...
