Re: Ultima LWB
I’ve had a chance to run the car and thought I’d post an update. P1010570.JPG The shocks fitted to the car came from an Ultima Pro. As received, they were in great shape and leak free so I didn’t bother to open them. On the bench, dampening seemed to be about right. On the track, however, they were ...

Re: CAT SWB Box Art Brimod shocks
Very cool! I still have that box and I never even noticed the non-production shocks. Thanks for posting this - I'm looking forward to your updates.

Re: Rebuilding a B3
Looks great.
Man, I'd take this car over any modern buggy. A classic!

Re: Protech Bodies
The ones I ordered were all different tho. Might be a problem with the eBay calculator (as I honestly would have expected it to cost more) That is disappointing to hear the protech is shorter than stock. I hope the others are more accurate. I should have nabbed a protech II and a couple others at t...

Re: RC 10 Stamped A #6370 Dogbone Replacement
You might want to return to the spot where the car stopped with a metal detector and see if you can find the bone. Parts for these cars are becoming scarce and buying just a single replacement dog bone or even the 1/4" axle CVA set could be rather difficult (I haven't been able to find them). T...

Re: sandkil's 91 stealth
2019 Build of the Year Winner. WOW, that's an awesome achievement - especially considering the quality of the competitor's builds.
It's an incredible car.
Congrats sandkil!!

Re: Greenwood Corvette RC10
Thanks Derek, I really hope so. This is going to be a runner so definitely will get modern electrics. The vintage stuff goes in my shelfers. I'm gonna try the Castle 4600kV/Sidewinder 3 combo that I got for the Ultima. USPS says the body will be delivered on Friday the 10th. Can't wait to start the ...

Re: Greenwood Corvette RC10
Me to. I've always like vettes in general. I drove a vette bitd, an '88, had it for 15 years, great car. Quick. Not sure of it's ultimate capabilities as I never had it over 150. So the body shell arrived today and it's from a Bolink mold. How about that - I had no idea they even made them. Anyway, ...

Re: Our boys down under.....
Our company established a matching funds donation effort to benefit the Australian Red Cross. The goal was $15,000 AUD and we exceeded that goal in less than 4 hours. We have roughly 2000 employees worldwide.

Re: 1:8 Kyosho 4246 Williams Renault FW14 EP
It's probably just the photos but the flaws really don't leap out. To my eye, the body looks awesome - I probably wouldn't touch it.
God forbid, but if it all goes wrong, will you be able to find a replacement?
I really like this car!

Re: Protech Bodies
As promised, here are some dimensions for the Penguin Protech II. I don't have an AE Protech II for comparison so I've include dimensions for the AE Protech and Viper - both of which were likely made sometime within the past 10 years. What's interesting is that although the Penguin body is 1/8"...
