Interestingly, diecast aluminum was used by Kyosho for the standard kit front hubs.
This is true for the re-released versions as well.

Re: RC10DS - 1970 Chevy Chevelle
Well done sir! The car looks great.
Kyosho had offered the Chevelle body in red and blue as well but I think silver is the best color - especially with those chrome trim pieces.
Did you notice that they are making an El Camino version as well?

Re: Hi Folks!
Hi Dan and welcome aboard.
The Sand Scorcher was one my first surface RC's. I recall seeing it on the cover of a Tower Hobbies catalog as it was a new release at the time and I couldn't resist. I sold it ages ago but I'd like to find another one to keep this time.

Re: RCCA March edition - Retro
NEVER shoulda thrown them out!!! I miss that stack more than Luke Duke missed his "ten years wortha car magazines" that were in the outhouse when Bo blew it up with the explodin' arrow Well I guess technically Luke blew it up. But his ding dang cousin put the real dynamite on the a...

Re: electricity 101
Actually, I'm guessing that most of my batteries have Chinese Deans connectors (or Chin-Deans connectors? sorry, I just made that up  ) and I've yet to have a problem with any of them which is why I thought it was odd there were so many complaints. To be honest however, I don't think any of my...

Re: Duplicolor Metalcast
Thanks for posting this. I have no first-hand experience with Metalcast but I've used a lot of Duplicolor paints over many years and I've always found it to be some of the very best rattle can paint on the market. They use a unique nozzle on their cans that lays down a very even coat that allows the...

new Losi 22s '69 Camaro No Prep RTR drag car
I've always been a big fan of the '69 Camaro so this got my attention. I have the Vaterra '69 Camaro but it's an AWD touring car. Other than the lack of window trim, I think the body on this car looks great. L3tNMpp9Ahw I don't drag race so I'm curious what you racers think. Do you believe this coul...

Re: Old MIP stuff
I've not seen this before. This is fascinating! Thanks for posting the link.
Check out that flex drive system. Let's take a simple concept, over-think it a little and make it incredibly complex. hahaha...
Very cool stuff overall. Great respect for Eustace!

Re: Let's have some FUN!!!!
Now that’s what I’m talking about ! You put together one awesome truck there, you didn’t like how it was so you made it into what it is now. Nicely done I may add. That truck should be posted up in its own thread. Many would like and benefit from what you came up with. haha... Thank you but it wasn...

Re: new Losi 22s '69 Camaro No Prep RTR drag car
Performance wise, I have no idea. I just hope that the QC is better than what the LMT has had. Why can't Losi release a kit version?? I hear ya! I have a new Losi vehicle and I've had to re-assemble parts of if that weren't assembled correctly. And, the ESC has two broken mounting tabs! What...

Is Vaterra gone for good?
Every vehicle appears to be discontinued everywhere I look. Granted, not the best products overall but their bodies seemed to be very scale. I have two on-road cars (v100s Camaros) and wondering if I should stock up on spare parts while they're still available. Has anyone heard anything official? th...

Re: new Losi 22s '69 Camaro No Prep RTR drag car
Believe me, when this guy hits the curb upside down for the first time, I may cry a little. But that is just the game I guess. dr10 body 1.jpg Sorry you have not gotten good feedback on your original question. I know nothing about Spektrum products outside of Rx/Tx. The motor Kv is about twi...

earthquake this morning
Just learned of the 6.9 earthquake that occurred near New Zealand a few hours ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to our friends down under.
