Re: Tamiya SRB: Ranger to Scorcher Question
This is interesting in that most guys convert Scorchers to Rangers since they are so rare. You may want to hold on to those Ranger specific parts in case you change your mind some day. :D Anyway, having recently restored a Ranger, I can add that the front body post is also different from Scorcher. T...

My first RC10T. But, what is it?
I received this truck many years ago in a parts lot that included a very dirty but very complete RC10 Graphite. Anyway, I'd like to rebuild this T? close to original and make a nice runner but I'm a bit confused. It appears to have T2 arms but a chassis tub and rear shock tower from the original T. ...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
I can't answer your question. I was taking a break from RC when the T2 came around. But I see there's no gearbox. What are your plans there? Get a 1st gen Stealth? Get the new gearbox case that lets you use modern 2.6 ratio gears? Me too. I slept through B2/T2, '3 and '4. Then I woke up and started...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
Associated just put a little slip in the box stating parts may have different appearance from manual when they started switching to black parts. Otherwise functionally they were the same and installation was the same. The correct body for the sport truck would be the wide as mentioned. The team bod...

Liquid RC is also showing stock:

$379.99 plus $0.99 shipping and they don't collect sales tax.
Very tempting.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Order 2628 Chassis 1506 Seems to be no correlation. Here's the 40th between an A stamp on the left, and a C stamp on the right, the 40th has a luster to it, more of a gold hue than orange. https://i.imgur.com/dJRwmx3.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VQxqpJy.jpg Am definitely glad I got one of them now, was ...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
There's a guy selling a 6-pack of 40th's on ebay (apparently they come (6) to a case). Would be curious to open all (6) of these and look at the chassis numbers. He wants $2,800, or $466 per unit. https://www.ebay.com/itm/196382329104 They're "Power Sellers". Anyway, they had them l...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
Andy's painted bodies are incredible, like the Horizon Hobby paint scheme he does. https://i.imgur.com/ucBRUhE.jpg https://i.imgur.com/rgrvsbX.jpg I bookmarked this link, and just watch the cool things he puts up there once or twice a week. Great place to draw inspiration from. https://www.ebay.com...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Agree that LiquidRC has Super Fast shipping - usually same day. I’m in Mass and usually have my parts in 2-3 days from the order. Now searching their website… that’s another matter  I halfway signed up to comment on this post. I thought I was missing a search bar on their website or something....

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
I reckon this project is relegated to back burner status while I search for reasonably priced dogbones.
I will not pay crazy ebay prices for them.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
I wasn't planning to buy a 40th (holding out for what comes next) but while shopping on Liquid for parts for other projects a few days back, it just kept speaking to me then FOMO kicked in. Since this is a limited edition and there likely won't be parts support (part numbers have been removed from t...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Anyone know the name of the condition, or sickness, that compels one to build the wheels first, with every model? https://i.imgur.com/CFTap5r.jpg Can't quit doing this. Cart before the horse syndrome? I'm guessing it makes you a wheelophile? Anyway, those look nice. Where did you find them? ...

I'm guessing it makes you a wheelophile? Anyway, those look nice. Where did you find them? BTW, a word of caution when you are fitting the body. Drill the front body post hole last and ignore the center point that is marked -- it's way too far aft. :x Wheelophillia :D, or rimplaysia. Thanks!...
