Not my bike but I've always been a fan of the Eddie Lawson Kawasaki's so I'd probably use these colors.
Combined with green anno chassis and motor plate and gold shocks, it might work.
Couldn't they 'team car' any of the models by adding the better shocks? Maybe this is a CE team car? The choice of anodize color seems a trivial thing but more units will sell if a re-release is faithful to the original. While the 40th is a very close recreation of the original, the DS, 10T and thi...
The test print look good! :D Those belly plates will be easy to model, print and attach. Although the floor assembly print isn't meant to be structural, the plates should add some rigidity making it less brittle. We can add a full aluminum pan to the top side of the frame assembly to give the bus a ...
That's excellent! Thank you for supplying reference photos for the belly plates and cargo floor.
How thin do you think I can model them and still have useable prints?
I've made the walls for the frame 1mm but could we have made them thinner??
So I have a P1s with the supplied spool of PLA and I'm ready to print for the first time. I use a basic flip phone and care nothing about the Handy App or Bambu cloud, I simply want to send my files directly from my laptop to the printer via wifi connection. However, when I navigate to WLAN for con...
Well, thought I'd consult the experts so I'm on Bambu website trying to submit a "support ticket" but the form requires that I attach a printer log file. There's no phone number either so no one to speak to. What a pile of crap! It seems the lack of Android or iOS device is very unu...
This just in: " Dear Bambu Lab Customer, Thanks for your contact! I’m sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. If you do not have an iOS or Android device, you can configure the network via the SD card. Please refer to the link below for more detailed information. " https://wiki.ba...
Really looking forward to seeing @XLR8 get to 3d print, and comfortably from WiFi on a laptop. A cheap Walmart tablet with a camera on the back would be the quickest way, no phone SIM/plan, and take it back once the bind is complete; then set the Bambu to LANonly mode afterwards. https://www.walmar...
Hmm. Is the change to WB because Manx chassis plate length differs from the stock FRP plate? Anyway, the roll bar and rear guard fasten directly to the transmission which is standard SRB so I don't understand why there is a problem. How does the Manx roll bar differ from the standard SRB part with r...
Ah, now I see it -- thanks.
A design flaw, perhaps.
Anyway, I have merged the inner half of the pipe joints with the Manx roll bar and uploaded the stl file to the Beach Buggy Body Set on the Google drive.
Hmmm. The CAD model sets level so not sure what has happened. Anyway, it's an easy fix. What length does your model need to establish desired ride height?
At least they're not leaking.
I agree; rear arms should be level. On the CAD model, front shocks are 61.85 while rears are 50.20. I could make the shocks functional but then you would need springs. Does anyone make spring steel filament? BTW, how do the fronts look; is length correct? right side profile.jpg rear view.jpg
