Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finished a RC10 T4.1 FT, except for body as usual. This one was in pretty rough shape and rusty when I bought it. It wasn't complete and the bottom of the chassis, rear plate and motor guard were scratched to kingdom come. I sanded a lot of the scratches out and decided to paint the chassis, front t...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
Pretty buggy. 👍👍 XLR8's '91 Stealth Replica... https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=43323&start=90 ...worth reading for those that haven't seen it. It's hard to out paint the guy who's been painting them since the beginning. But I think it'll be cool to see what you come up with... 'cause th...

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
I searched and searched, but didn't see one like it. It would be easy to spot because of the molded push bar, the line down the middle of the cowl induction scoop, and the shape of the rear fenders.
It looks great! I'd use it if it were me.

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
It's our first body, the 9500 Chevy stadium truck. Boki has the mold now so they will be available. As mentioned in the pic Custom Works was pulling them for us. They also helped with teaching Chris and Daryl how to make the bodies.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Thanks! I owned one as a kid and bought it on eBay with box. It works too and is in like new condition. Btw, I haven't told me wife yet about the RC10 Classic. I'll try to sneak it home tomorrow and see how long it takes her to notice it... :P https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pw/AP1GczM7NXOhKouY7LP...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Agree that LiquidRC has Super Fast shipping - usually same day. I’m in Mass and usually have my parts in 2-3 days from the order. Now searching their website… that’s another matter  I halfway signed up to comment on this post. I thought I was missing a search bar on their website or something.

Re: My first RC10T. But, what is it?
I believe 1989 or 90. It was in our 1991 catalog and not in our 88

Exactly what I was thinking... wow, wouldn't have guessed A&L.
That'd look cool with box art paint... or Jammin Jay style like Scr8p's replica...

...but with Associated decals, of course

Hello all! I just finished up a 40th anniversary RC10 classic build and wanted to show the results. I have some modern electronics in it (Quicrun 10BL120 G2 & 3652SL G2) and decided to go with the gunmetal grey color I have used on a few recent builds. My original RC10 from the late 80's was don...

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle
Got the front bearing adapters recommended by juicedcoupe , thanks again! They work perfectly to adapt the smaller Kyosho axle and bearing to the larger Tamiya wheel hub. Will paint the adapters flat black, like the VW brake drums were. https://i.imgur.com/QCl9flE.jpg https://i.imgur.com/PWolFsD.jpg...

Re: Who made the "off road stock" motor?
The first iteration was a Yokomo "dry mag", and in 1988 they switched to the Yokomo "wet mag" when it became available.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Anyone know the name of the condition, or sickness, that compels one to build the wheels first, with every model?

Can't quit doing this. Cart before the horse syndrome?
