Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...

For me, the whole purpose of the H2D is dual material and prints without waste and cross polution between materials. I did a first attempt today, by mixing TPU and PLA in a print: I have a whole set of use case I thought about relying on this, and I want to put that to test... I sliced a Marui Shogu...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...

The print quality of the X1C was great... The H2D sets the quality to another level... This is an ABS print, and I never had such great quality with the X1C or the A1 mini... https://i.imgur.com/nii1xxk.jpeg This is an exhaust port I found on makerworld (I could have done the same, but was already d...

Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ - 2009 Reissue Rough Rider

Didn't know if I was going to be able to get through this masking job. Definitely the hardest I've attempted yet. The hardest part of all of this, for me, is the top behind the driver, where the black pen marks are, that radius and fit overall about made me give up. Going to let this sit and look i...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines

I've saved the largest and most complex parts for last on this project. This bed side required 11-1/2 hours to print -- but I think it was worth the time. With layer height set to 0.08mm, the layer lines are almost non-existent. A few passes with some 380 grit paper and they're gone. I probably cou...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines

I never got around to the vw but the sandy was super cool. Remember to pick up the belts, bearings, and out runner motor if you start printing one- get them ordered so you aren't waiting

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

Uh oh, what I miss?  I know the MIP CVD's is one, but it at least has the CVA's. I also didn't discuss trimming the wheels. I realized I missed the CVD's after I was after I had completed editing the video. I didn't want to dig the stuff back out and film it, then redo the video  . ...

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

No template. I drilled the new hole, then cut off the larger portions that needed to go with a dremel and cut-off wheel. Then used a sanding drum on the dremel to do the rest.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

Here's the build thread of my car. There's a pic of the bulkhead just sitting on the bench after the mods. Also notice my screw up on the antenna mount. I angle cut the wrong side by accident.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

My rear one is actually too tall. It doesn't let the body sit as low as it should. I'd have to dig the car back out, but they're the same diameter as a stock body mount. 8-32 screw. The rear one has the same pin height as a stock mount, but the pedestal holds the body up. May need to be 3/16" t...

Re: SilverTriple's printing stuff...

A classical use of the simple characteristic "PLA and PETG don't stick together" T7G7skJAPx0 Bambu Lab PLA Matte white as Support interface (3 layers, 0 gap in Z) Sunlu PETG transparent with Generic PETG profile Worked like a charm, no oozing, no cross material pollution. Beside the suppor...

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

What gear cover did Brian use? Will the kit supplied gear cover fit over a Hydradrive or should we order the repop from TBG? I'm not yet ready to build mine so I haven't yet opened the box nor have I rummaged around in the attic to find the Hydradrive. I'd like to get the cover ordered asap if it's...

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

I was debating making a part 2 to my video to address a few things. The CVDs being one, and maybe a few detail RougeIV mentioned like removing the ano on the back end of the nose plate. But also in regards to the gear cover. No, the stock cover will definitely not fit a Hydradrive, nor will the one ...

Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ - 2009 Reissue Rough Rider

Ran out of TS-26 white paint, thought one can would be enough, but didn't figure in my mistakes and do-over. Can't peel this until I get more TS-26 to finish the weak lines, can still see a thin blue line. https://i.imgur.com/DrxPLT8.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/YCkUawC.jpeg Did get those drips removed....
