Ed is also a great guy to work with. The rear battery mount is the bulkhead. Used and 3D printed ones are available on...

Re: Need Vintage Buggy Advice, looking at eBay auction.
IS this a good Vintage Buggy for my collection? What should I expect to pay? Thanks Here's the eBay link. I like the body. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285108324437 It's your collection. You decide if it's good for it. Is there a reason why you want that specific buggy? They are not asking a low price....

Re: What's the latest slipper upgrade route?
You can try an get a Carbon fiber disk cut to the slipper size. similar to kid again slipper offering.
AS well since you have an eGT this link will apply,

the b4/t4 had a steel stopshaft but those are getting pricey to source.

Making a carbon fiber chassis the beginner way (part1)
I learned a lot last year with my carbon fiber chassis. I am going to start a few projects starting with a carbon fiber rpm8090 tub. Wrappers Delight 0DA742F8-88B3-490B-9D7C-F58B07517B47.jpeg I am starting out by using glossy automotive wrap around the chassis. The wrap will protect the original pla...

Re: Making a carbon fiber chassis the beginner way
Maybe I'm just being ignorant but I would have thought being in the film industry you would have access to people who have professional knowledge and/or equipment in molds/models. I do know the scientist who make the cherries and Cherry Garcia soft, as opposed to frozen solid. It's not relevant in ...

Re: Making a carbon fiber chassis the beginner way
Are you using a vacuum chamber after mixing the gel ? I don't know much about resins but one thing I've seen a lot on YouTube is they all vacuum the resin after mixing to remove bubbles . I'm loving watching you learn this process , good luck . Not all resin require vacuum degassing. I had not deve...

Re: RC10 Carpet
20230130_071849.jpg Well, the OEM rear bulkhead was brittle and failed at the inner camber link. I made a new one out of delrin, but that one broke there, too. Gonna inlay some CF... You seem to have your stuff well past all together, but did you rehydrate the nylon on the stock bulkhead? Is there ...

associated reference library online
I found this interesting link
https://apps.associatedelectrics.com/aereferencelibrary/start2.htm
when looking for some specific parts online.
It's an online copy of the 2016 reference CD . Nicely organized.
I hadn't seen this before.

Re: Help needed: transmission identification
Greetings. New member, first time poster, and a fan of RC cars from way back. My first car was a Christmas present back in the late 80’s. My big brother and I received matching Sears RC cars. We raced them, crashed them (many times), and we were hooked. We both dove into RC cars with my brother fal...

Re: Making a carbon fiber chassis the beginner way
There is a non 0 chance that I have encased and rpm 8090 chassis and an excellent condition t4 carbon chassis in a block of polyester resin. 9CB3465A-C99C-4D53-AAE9-DDACE296365A.jpeg Once the gel coat layer is down the regular fiberglass resin can be used in lower temperatures. Re: RC10 with RC10gt gearbox?
What would you like to do with the car? If the 6 gear you have is in good shape build the car as you have it and work on replacing with a stealth over time. I've always wanted to throw a brushless on it. I've read a bunch of posts on here about toughening up the 6gear, but I'm still reluctant to pu...
