Re: Predictions for the RC hobby in 2035
I initially misread the date as 2025 instead of 2035. Why is everyone planning on dying this year?!?!

Re: Neat video of a Japanese rc10 event Pine Beach Raceway in Shizuoka Prefecture 2025
Very cool video. 👍 Was thinking the same thing, can't understand 'em, but they look like they're having a blast. Pretty lineup of cars too. The one at 15:40 and 19:00 with the mechanical speed controller, AM receiver, and lipo battery was cool. Liked the tight track and how quiet it was, no announce...

Re: Neat video of a Japanese rc10 event Pine Beach Raceway in Shizuoka Prefecture 2025
It's like elimination racing! There was a buggy that flipped over and got left that way as an obstacle! I also saw reverse get used. Very excellent track and participants. I did understand a little bit of what they said. My language skills must be better than I thought. I clearly heard "B...

MarkyDents wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 12:11 am It does look really nice, that gold reminds me of the prototype car.

That's what I was thinking too, that light gold would make a great JJH replica chassis.

Re: Neat video of a Japanese rc10 event Pine Beach Raceway in Shizuoka Prefecture 2025
Found that RcMart is selling some of the items The motors look rad. Stickered up show queens can't emulate respect, but we all know more than one motor was sold back in the day because you looked at it and said, "THAT ONE looks awesome!!" Extremely curious after your first post,...

Re: Neat video of a Japanese rc10 event Pine Beach Raceway in Shizuoka Prefecture 2025
Great video and one of the few of actual racing that I watch right through, usually I skip over them because modern arcing videos are of people nudging unguided missiles around the track. It's going to appeal to us old timers as the RC10s are running at the same sort of speeds we all used to race at...

Re: Neat video of a Japanese rc10 event Pine Beach Raceway in Shizuoka Prefecture 2025
MDGFSFVdXms This enlightening video popped up on my feed today, auto-dubbed in English too. Turns out all the RC10’s on the table at the Pine Beach event belonged to the same guy, TqToshi, who’s in front of the camera. All of them with motors had 540’s, most of them weren’t runners, but one he race...

Re: Happy Easter to all
I got some completely alone time which was the best part.
I've also been eating way too much candy over the last few days.

LOSA9922 MIP CVD Question
Hello! Long time listener, first time caller. I'm embarking on something that's been done to death at this point, an XXT-CR Graphite Plus restoration back to near-NIB specs. But, it's what I grew up with and its in my heart and brain. I have an odd question about the CVDs included in the G+ kit. Wha...

Finally loving my RC10DS, all it took was a new body
Built up my DS ReRe not long after it was released. Drove it a bit but honestly couldn’t cope with the standard body. Finally swapped it out for an HPI Touring car body of an e39 BMW M5.
Now i am in love. The body is a pretty decent fit and the DS wheels and tires look really on point.

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
The more people race them the fewer mint in box examples will exist, driving their price up compared to intentionally collectable versions, of which there'll be more mint in box examples because it was marketed as collectable from the start. It's why a Beetles lunch box goes for $3500 while a Frankl...
