Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)
The more people race them the fewer mint in box examples will exist, driving their price up compared to intentionally collectable versions, of which there'll be more mint in box examples because it was marketed as collectable from the start. It's why a Beetles lunch box goes for $3500 while a Frankl...

Re: Corally SP10V – the sad one
It took some searching, but I finally found a body with the correct look. A guy in France had this Peugeot 905 body.
Now painted and mounted on the sp10v.

Re: Blind bearing removal
I do what frankentruck recommend, just a little wiggle and they will usually pop right out. If you are feeling adventurous you could do what we do for pilot bearings on a transmission, pack the center hole of the bearing full of grease and insert a 5mm shaft, the grease will hydraulically force the ...

If you are feeling adventurous you could do what we do for pilot bearings on a transmission, pack the center hole of the bearing full of grease and insert a 5mm shaft, the grease will hydraulically force the bearing out. Or go full Roadkill and use Wonder Bread instead of grease. Lots of resu...

Re: New Off Topic RC Project - Nickel Plating turnbuckles
Friction surfing sounds interesting. Not much is popping up on a web search. Do you have anything written you can point me to? You can google "Brass Plating With A Wire Wheel" and find some forum posts or the same term in Youtube and get videos like these: PrxJ0QEhZFE xka4GMMyQGg I1o5PNHL...

I mostly pulled it out to run around the driveway and the neighbors gravel lot and some hills around that lot. The black tape is to block out water from splashing into th...
